An ingenious example of speech and politics occurred recently
in the United Nations Assembly which made the world community smile.
A representative from Israel began:
Before beginning my talk I want to tell you something about Moses.
When he struck the rock and it brought forth water, he thought,
'What a good opportunity to have a bath!'
He removed his clothes, put them aside on the rock and entered the water.
When he got out and wanted to dress, his clothes had vanished.
A Palestinian had stolen them.'
The Palestinian representative jumped up furiously and shouted,
'What are you talking about?
The Palestinians weren't there then.'
The Israeli representative smiled and said, 'And now that we have made that
clear, I will begin my speech.

Please tell me that this really happened for real!
What a laugh......and a trap! -
The muslims changed it around on their web sites to read that it was said by a palestinian. Figures. How sad they are so willfully hateful.

I am glad that he tackled that issue from the right direction.
The Land of Israel was virtually a Wasteland with little population before the returning of Jews!
The Land of Israel was more scarcely inhabited before Zionist movement than America was with Indians.
Otherwise, if anyone object to this true reality, he or she is strongly disbelieving and objecting to the prophecies of the Bible, actually strongly confessing that he or she doesn't believe in the True God who prophesied:
Amos 9
9:14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
Ezekiel 36
4: Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;
34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.
Ezekile 38:
8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them
38:12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land
