This morning Joel Osteen on TV tells that Steve Jobs was into Buddhism after he ditched church at age 13. Joel went on to say that Steve on his death bed said "wow, wow, wow"before passing away which Joel says,"I cannot be sure but seems to me he went to Heaven." His whole message was about don't judge and God is God of Christians, Muslims, Athiest, ect. He mixes some truth with Universalism and come out with a smile as he say it.
Well from what I've read he was raised Lutheran and saved and baptized at an early age. I don't believe you can lose your salvation, so I believe if he believed in Christ at that time he is surely in heaven. And I don't care a thing about what that snake Osteen says
How anyone can say what another man believes or knows in their mind is beyond me.
The father of lies can influence believers.
Fact is we don't know, even if the evidence points to him being lost.
Stop with the emphatic judgement.
No I start with the Bible and what it teaches and it clearly says in John 14:6 that Jesus is the only way, and it clearly says that without Christ all are headed to Hell. It also says that Buddhisim is another gospel and is condemned (Gal 1:8ff). You claim to be a student of David Jeremiah yet seem to have missed what he teaches.
All of the questions here abut Steve Jobs have been answered in the Bible and this is an excellent devotional addressing this. Click on the link and see for yourself. Was Steve Jobs a true believer or not?
First Joel is saying "don't judge" BUT he does judge by saying he think he went to Heaven? Hello! Also Jesus said his sheep will by no mean follow a stranger IN FACT they will run away because they do not recognize a strangers voice. John 10:5
Absolutely! They can convert to Islam, JW, New Age, and live a lifestyle of sin, you name it! In fact a preacher told me this is OK and it doesn't matter, say a prayer, and you're in, and that there needs to be no evidence whatsoever because 'Jesus can't lie' (Romans 10:13) so what they do afterwards is inconsequential. That is what is being preached these days, and this in an SBC church.
He's thumbing false doctrine. This he does all day long. What he is thumbing is basically the carnal ideology of 'don't judge', when in fact Paul gave us signs of the professing lost in the church, and we can, in fact make 'emphatic' judgments, and are called upon to do so. To further the case, we are also told to judge ourselves as well, 2 Cor. 13:5, 2 Peter 1:10.
Keep the faith and continue to fight for it bro.
If you have something to address with me or someone else reply directly to us instead.
Be a man, not a coward.
Your passive / aggressive behavior is lame...and tiresome.
The moment technology allows anyone to crawl into the mind of another, let me know.
Its ironic you quote Corinthians...the church of true believers acting like unsaved, carnal men.
I disagree with your supernatural claim to know precisely what he believed and where he is at this moment.
I never claim to be deity, you shouldn't either.
Only God knows this mans heart.
You don't.
Not sure what David Jeremiah has to do with anything.
