John Hagee said "every word in the Bible was written by Jews". My first question would be, "What about Luke?" Any comments from the forum?

I've heard that some people think Luke was Jewish.

What mountain? Would you like to agree or disagree with Hagee on this issue? This is a discussion forum, you know? Was Titus Jewish?

The statement is false even without consideration of Luke. The name Jew is derived from Judah and the tribe of Judah did not write all of the Bible. This is just some more dispensational nonsense.

And immediately after this Hagee said, "I'm hungry. Is there an IHOP nearby?"

A better question might be, did Titus write a book of the bible?

It is not dispensationalism at all - it's Hagee's own weird brand of his theology!

Yes, "Jew" is derived from "Judah," but the term refers to all postexilic Israelites, not just to those of Judah.

It's an accident of language. We don't tell the ancients what their words meant, we ask them.

He also stated that Jesus would never go into the house of a Gentile, because He was a Torah observant Jew.

Let's refresh ourselves on Jewish law (halacha) for a moment. A rabbi would also never touch a leper.....I remember Him doing that....and a rabbi probably wouldn't have touched a dead body, because that would also make Him unclean...and how about washing the hands before one ate...oh...and hanging out with tax collectors and prostitutes...hmmmm....let me get back to you on this.....
