All should hear this.
Kelly defends Trump, rips congresswoman for politicizing the President's condolence call.
Said Trump said exactly what most other presidents and servicemen say when they call the families. Pleads to not politicize this last sacred act of honoring fallen soldiers.
Politicalize?
Trump blasted McCain because he was captured and tortured by the enemy.
THAT is what's absolutely unacceptable.
For a draft dodger to criticize a captured American soldier.
GW Bush did the same thing to John Kerry.
Bush only got into the Air National Guard because of his father's money and influence.
He somehow jumped of a 100 man waiting list to dodge going to Vietnam.
Then he painted Kerry, Lt., U.S. Navy 1966-70; Silver Star, Bronze Star with Combat V, and three awards of the Purple Heart for his service in combat, asnot being a patriot.
Let's look at facts rather than GOP propaganda.
Nobody can answer the mail on that one and then talk to me about Trump's respect for the military.
Every Trumpie on this board will deflect and dodge that one or pretend it never happened.
I thought his comment about McCain getting captured was horrible. Completely unnecessary personal slam. He should be ashamed. I still think he’s doing a good job as president.
Wow.
That's your opinion.
Maybe Trump who hasn't served should have left that one alone.
I doubt it would go over well to other POW's either.
Crazy that this has to be explained.
People have problems with the politician John McCain.
Trump's comments by default included anyone that's ever been a POW.
It was bad but here we have blind allegiance to politics brushing that aside as usual.
I thought it was pretty neat that Kerry had someone film him as he strutted around in a helmet and with a rifle. I thought he was boat commander, so what was up with that? And how about when Kerry through his medals over the fence at the Pentagon during his protesting days? Then, when he became a bigwig in DC, his medals suddenly appear on the wall of his DC office. When asked about it, he said the medals he through over the fence at the Pentagon were someone else's. Yeah, right.
What made McCain a war hero was refusing to be released because his Dad was an Admiral. That and standing up to the tortures that were inflicted upon him. Unfortunately, his actions as a politician leave much to be desired.
