Ro 3:20 - Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Since this was written to believers, what is the context of justification in this passage?

Justified means acceptable to God. The law and a human attempt to obey the law won't make you acceptable to God. All the law will do in our vain attempts to keep it is to show what sin is and how sinful we are and our need for Jesus.

Is this in the context of the Millenium or eternal salvation?

If a person is saved today they will be saved in both the Millenium and eternally. Sorry, I just don't get the point of the question.

What do you think Paul was afraid of being disqualified for at the end of his journey? Do you believe in conditional security?

OK, I'll play the game. In what scripture was Paul afraid of being disqualified at the end of his journey?

Not a game. Just a question. Game-playing and Scripture is not a good mix :).

I Corithians 9:27 - but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.

What happens to those that don't win?

    Technically, justified means declared righteous.

For the reason he said. He might be shown to be disqualified or disapproved, not having genuine faith. Paul and the other authors of Scripture made no distinction between Millennial salvation and eternal salvation because God did not reveal such a distinction. That is a manmade doctrine that has no place in orthodox Christianity. It was developed in order to avoid what Scripture teaches.

Why will only one person win? Where does that leave everyone else?

He was talking about the ancient races which only had one winner that won the prize. He's not saying that in the future there is only going to be one winner. Everyone is in their own race of the faith, but everyone individually must run in such a manner that they will be declared a winner at the end of their race. Each individual is running a race. They can either win or lose. It's not a collective race against other competitors like the ancient games.

I think you already know where I stand on what happens to the losers. However, I would be curious to know what you think.

The context of this passage is how Paul is percieved by those who he preaches to. Begining in v. 20 Paul describes how he presents himself. The castaway Paul is refering to is the rejection of those whom he preaches to.

So are you suggesting that out of all the Christians that are running the race only one will win?

    Please tell us.
