And that is the point. The Word BECAME flesh. Scripture does not say, "The Word entered a body." Mary was the mother of Jesus in totality, not just the mother of His body. Therefore, she is the Mother of God.

Quite the tricky phrase that can lead to all kinds of heresy. It is a mistaken phrase that should be clarified and not just left to stand on its own.

The scripture does say He "TOOK UPON HIMSELF" rather than deity was conceived or deity "became" flesh. It does say he TABERNACLED in the flesh rather than Deity was conceived flesh. It does say "a body that hast PREPARED FOR me" rather than deity was conceived.

Flesh can only beget flesh and that is your problem with Mary the "mother of God" - flesh cannot beget diety.

The fact that the Eternal Word "became" flesh denies deity was conceived in Mary.

I don't think The Biblicist stated it this way, but merely stated that a Triune God uses the bible to show Himself to us, through His written Word.

I certainly believe that these people, such as the children over in France, and the woman in Long Island, did indeed have a visitation. I certainly dont think they just made it up.

The problem of course is that they did not see the Mary of the scriptures.

What they witnessed was a demonic manifstation.

I encourage you to look into how the RCC uses Marian Appartitions, in poor countries, to rip people off. Look up the Virgin of Guadalupe. A Bascillica built for a doll. People wait in line & pay to pray to her. All done by the RCC.

From the link in post 42 of this thread...

Along with the mother of God blasphamy, this statement actually encourages these poor lost catholics to deify the sinner saved by grace Mary.

The scriptures are extremely clear that Almighty God..the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit..and He alone, is who we should turn to for ANY and ALL of are protection, needs and protection from dangers

The hellish blaphemies and idolatries and goddess worship flow constantly from the false church of Rome.

Catholicism is not an other denomination, IMO. There was a time (I do not know if it is still in effect) that you could not be a member of this board if you were Catholic and the Catholic dogmas could not be taught on this board.

Those looking for signs generally will get one. I don't believe for a second that the sign in this OP was allowed by God Himself.

During World War I Pope Benedict XV made repeated but forlorn pleas for peace, and finally, in May 1917, made a direct appeal to Mary to intercede for peace in the world. The response was Mary's first appearance at Fatima just over a week later.

Take note that Fatima was the direct response to the Pope's direct appeal to Mary to intercede for peace in the world.

Here is the god of the Roman Catholic Church! She is the Queen of Heaven referred to by Jeremiah and the Madonna of Roman paganism. Pope John Paul when shot cried out to his god - "Mary" so Pope Benedict XV cried out to his god.

The Lord God of Heaven would NEVER affirm/confirm such out right worship of the Queen of Heaven by what happened at Fatima. This is Lucifer responding to His Great Harlot girlfriend.

Below is a picture of a Roman coin dating back to AD 71 during the reign of Vespasian (69-79 A.D.) depicting Rome as a woman sitting on seven hills — something the early Christians would have been very familiar with. Surely they would have recognized the prostitute seated on seven hills as representing Rome in Romans 17:18.

4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:.....18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Even more interesting is the fact that later under one of the Ancient Pope's of Rome there is also coinage made with the pope on one side and a woman with a cup on the other side - Again Rome under the Roman Catholic Church symbolized by a woman with a cup in hand.

Not a chance! This demon told the children that in order to be saved people must say the Rosary! Where do you find that gospel in the Bible?
