That is not simply devotion to Mary, it is worship.

I don't see how anyone could say what was said in that article and deny your statement Rev. I was pretty much speechless when I read it - and that says a lot!

Having read the article now, I kind of feel like Satan would want to push people to venerate and worship Mary, as it would remove their attention from Christ and would actually make them guilty of breaking the commandment of no other gods.

The veneration of Mary, or of any person, is sickening to me. We are to worship God. We are to pray to Him in the name of the Son, and we are to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Nowhere in that is it mentioned that we should pray to Mary or any of the "saints."

Seriously, look at this quote from the article:
That is nothing but a boatload of heresy and blasphemy. Mary cannot save. She cannot facilitate the answering of prayers. She most definitely is NOT an "arm of salvation." Disgusting.

Well, the author is right that nothing that belongs to Mary will be lost. Her salvation was secure and she will never lose the Savior whom she bore. But that's it. What they are saying in this article is nauseating to me and how anyone can possibly say that this is not worship is absolutely delusional!
