    I suppose mine is to awaken the soul that I might rationally and in good spirit consider the day.

    True, and another that comes to mind is food. Many imbalances are created by what we eat and how much. People like to eat to "feel good". Food is abused all the time and the negative effects from that are causing all kinds of physical and mental illnesses. ...but, mabye there is hope, I heard they just came up with a new pill to treat these imbalances.

    We call 'em fat pills. Other places they call 'em donuts or Bismarks. :tongue3:

    Where'd FAL go? We start talking about all those beverages with stimulants and he disappears. Uncanny.

    I see Nothing Wrong....

    ...in using medically prescribed aides to cope with a physical or mental disease. God gave mankind the smarts to develop these things, so why diss God and those He gave us to make life more comfortable?

    I don't think we help, me included, by referring to brain chemicals. They are properly neurotransmitters and not some vague things science cannot find.

    We tried the scientific words a few threads back. :BangHead: Looks like Steadfast and Free are busy chasing the new feller from Tronto. Anyone want to have a reasoned and rational discussion now?
