IMO, to allow prosecution of those who ordered or used those techniques and to ban use of those techniques just shows me how much Obama hates this country and also shows me that he wants another terrorist attack to happen here. He shows his true colors every day but some people refuse to see. :tear:

I really can't believe you said that the president wants a terror attack. This is a new low for you and I am surprised that we could delve any further.

Well, good, so you say you didn't vote for him, yet it sounds like you defend his move to disintegrate our intelligence gathering and putting our national security at risk by release of the memos, etc.
And talk about sinking to a new low....I didn't sit under the teachings of Jeremiah Wright for 20 years, you know, the fella who said "America's chickens have come home to roost" about the 09/11 attacks.
I didn't bow before the King of Mecca in obeisance, as if our groveling before islam will prevent the next terror attack.
The fact is, in spite of what the liberal press and naysayers went on and on and on about that our tactics didn't work, the fact is, THEY DID!
So let's see if bowing to the King of Islam and gutting the CIA prevents the next terrorist attack on the homeland. If we go the next 8 years without another 09/11 or worse, I'll apologize for my sinking so low remarks.

Get with the program! It is your idol Czar obama who is keeping that information classified.
Also before mouthing off you should define what you consider torture. -
Of course, I see yet another thread in which "torture" is condemned, but not defined.
Problematic, it is...
Also...be aware that there's not a hole in LA to match New York's...thanks to our intelligence.

God must love gullible people cuz he sure did create alot of em. That particular "terror threat" was debunked long ago for the staged fearmongering it was.
Define torture? Why should Christians have to define torture? I would think as Christians we'd all abhor the abuse of others and need no definition to clear up how much abuse inflicted on others is okay. I keep waiting for Rod Serling to wake me up but he never does. -
A terror attack enabled the Bush administraion to get the Hart-Rudman (circa 1994) act passed with no question, consolidate more power to the executive, expand government by 50% and spend taxdollars like a drunken sailor. You might know the H-R act by another name. U.S.A. P.A.T.R.I.O.T act, or acts as there were several of them that easily passed. What president in his right mind wouldn't welcome one? -

So.
This is Faux Snews owned by neocon Rupert Murdoch reporting on "the plot".
**Moderator attachment** I'm sorry Poncho---but---Pasted images cannot be any larger that the Baptist Board logo found on top of pages-----roughly a 2"x2"
Scary huh? Apparently so you fell for it easy enough.
"There was no definitive plot. It never materialized or got past the thought stage," says a senior counterterrorism official, who has worked at the CIA and the FBI, who talked to Capitol Hill Blue and the New York Daily News.
"I'm amazed that the president would make this (announcement) on national TV and not inform us of these details through the appropriate channels," the mayor says. "I don't expect a call from the president — but somebody." Villaraigosa also said he has twice requested meetings with Bush to discuss security issues for Los Angeles and was turned down both times. Los Angeles Mayor Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa
I know it's not easy to comprehend that Bush lied to you, but he did, about alot of things. And all those things you agreed with and consented to that you wouldn't under normal conditions can't be taken back now so, you're in defensive mode. Wanting to believe all the lies were true. And now you have to live with it.
That's really sad. My heart goes out to you fellas it really does. :tear:
BTW rbell you never said whether you agreed with the H-R act before 9/11. Did you?
Do you deny that the Bush administration consolidated more power to the executive, expanded government by 50% and spent billions and billions of taxdollars like a drunken sailor? You never said anything about that either. Do you think they could have done all that without 9/11? You never said. I wonder why you never said. Naw, nevermind...I know why you never said.
How about you OR? Do you disagree that Bush consolidated power into the executive, expanded government by 50% and spent billions and billions of taxdollars like a drunken sailor? Do you think they could have done all that without a 9/11? Did you support the H-R act before 9/11? Did you question it even? You aren't going to keep hiding your lack of an argument behind dizzying graphics now are ya? -

You seem to want to ignore the fact that the intelligence community had been so greatly dismantled by Clinton that they had quite a few inabilities. See Clinton did not think we would be able to be attacked in that manner. how arrogant. -
The USA should not resort to torture of any kind. In fact, we imprisoned; and the Brits executed; captured Japanese who practiced waterboarding. This has been a method used by totalitarian regimes, not by free nations. I guess the attitude now is that it is only a war crime if our enemies do it.
