"An explosive new lawsuit filed in St. Louis seeking the release of Michael Brown's juvenile criminal record alleges the slain teen was a gang member and faced a second degree murder charge.
The citizen journalism website GotNews took St. Louis County authorities to court Wednesday to secure the release of the records because it believes they do not need to be kept private since he is no longer alive."
Will Obama have egg in his face over the "Gentle Giant" and his sending an entourage to the funeral?
This is where the rush to justice can hurt more than the cop involved in the shooting. All the facts should have been sifted through before making the decisions the WH made, including dispatching Eric Holder and the FBI to Ferguson!
There would have been ample time to conduct a second, more thorough investigation, once the locals concluded theirs.
What say you? Is Obama's rush to judgment going to end with egg in his face? Sort of reminds you of Dartmouth?
You'd think Obama would have learned.? But, no! Now he is left with things like:
"Al Quaida's on the run ....", "ISIL is the JV ...." and "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon"
Just thinking, this POTUS, like many who came before him, must have a love for "Oven-roasted Crow under glass?" Because they all seem to end up eating that very same humble dish.
Oh, well! You and I are a lot like Obama, Bush, Bush Sr. and Clinton too. You may ask me, "How did you come up with that comparison?" And I'll just remind you that we are all human!
 Being human levels the playing field, for all of us who share this planet!
Michael Brown: Please say this isn't so?

WH aides weren't sent because Michael Brown was a the model Boy Scout killed on the streets. -

Does this bit of information suddenly change what happened? -

It should ...
I'm sure members of this forum have more incidents where the POTUS has made a hasty comment, or jumped into the water before knowing the temperature! -
They were sent because the young man (not "child") was black. -

A call for CALM!
I've said this many times now, and will say it once again. Because of sin nature and the evil in this world, a young man is dead, and a man entrusted with enforcing the laws of the community is being raked over the coals in a RUSH to judgement.
We all need to weep with the Brown family for the loss of their son, and we all need to weep and anguish with the Johnson family as a son, husband and father are being called a cold-blooded killer.
Those in power and places of authority have helped to fan the flames of anger and racism, and unfortunately; the officer has been pronounced guilty before the truth is discovered!
I feel bad for any family who has lost a child to violence, but let me say this: had Michael Brown simply acted with respect to the authority given to the officer, he more than likely would be here today, facing a strong-arm robbery charges in the theft of some cigars.
I know the officer had a choice to make, as did Brown. Were those choices good one? Let the investigation take its time to work through what is true and false, and let the chips fall where they fall!
Nothing can undo what has been done, but clearer minds can certainly prevent another person from being swallowed up in racial division!
I could be wrong, and if I am, you all know I will own up to it and tender an apology .... but, I honestly believe Michael Brown was not killed because of the color of his skin! But, rather, because of his poor choices prior to his encounter with the cop, during his encounter with the cop, and immediately after his encounter with the cop!
Brown didn't wake up that day with a plan to rob a convenience store; man handle a clerk; strong arm and wrestle with a white cop, and get himself killed!
Likewise, the cop didn't go out on shift with the desire to seek out a black man, confront him, provoke him into being shot and killed.
None of that makes sense. So, all speculation aside, let's leave this to the experts to work out, and stop all this race mud slinging! It only serves to break down years of bridge building between the whites and blacks. Years of allowinbg diversity and tolerance to take hold! :praying: -
I don't know the facts but the evidence so far tells me the whole thing would have been averted if the young thug looking kid that was with Brown would have told the truth. He was the one saying Brown's hands were in the err and said the cop shot him the back. It seems he spread this story in the neighborhood and then the media saw a Hot story and plastered all over the tube, true or not, it was going to make money for them.
-
I think it might lend more credence to the officer's side. If he was familiar with him/them and there was a history of gang involvement and murder, it would be logical to feel very threatened even before contact. Wouldn't you?

If the WH sent aides to this particular funeral, why aren't they sending aides to other similar funerals, regardless of the victim's skin color?
Is it acceptable for the president, who is the duly elected representative of every American, to be represented at this particular event, but not at others? Is it acceptable for the president, who is the duly elected representative of every American, to side against law enforcement before all possible reports and facts have been made and evaluated?
What kind of message is the president sending with these actions? -
