I guess it was only a matter of time...but if the "occupy movement didn't get support from Rev Sahrpton, or Rev. Jackson. It was not surprising to see film producer Michael Moore jump in the fray.
Does his presence lend Hollywood's credibility to this movement? On the other hand, is it just Michael Moore trying to get back in front of the television cameras before he releases another satirical movie (BTW, I know of no such movies that he has scheduled to come out, but, maybe this is the pre-announcement phase?) :wavey:

So, what say you, on this recent support for the occupy people of 2011???
By the way, if any on this forum believes that I purposely set out to over sensationalize this post, I apologize!

In a related story, Bay Area seismologists are reporting an earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale. It apparently occurred at the same time that Michael Moore slipped and fell down while scrambling to get in front of a TV camera.

What gets me is that he gets a pass for pulling a stunt like protesting the "rich" when he's one of them. Hypocrisy.
-
He's a gatekeeper. His function is to keep the lefties busy protesting the wrong people for the wrong reasons and make a few bucks in the meantime.
The "righties" have their share of gatekeepers too. Sarah Palin? They always bring people right back to big government and big brother for the solution. -

Unbelievable. Christians mocking and making fun of someone's weight because they disagree with that person's views. I doubt Jesus would condone this childish behavior.
As for Mr. Moore, how about what he actually said? Story and video at http://wallstcheatsheet.com/stocks/heres-the-michael-moore-cnbc-video-everyones-talking-about.html/. -
Now, take Jay Leno - he is an equal oppurtinuty offener. He wil joke about the Rep, Dems, anyone - even Ron Paul - if he has ever heard of him:tongue3:
BTW, yours truly is well over the weight limt - so when I hear a Fat joke, I am laughing at myself. -
BTW, I laugh at blonde jokes, women jokes, and men jokes. I even laugh at pastor jokes  Maybe I should be burned at the stake. (NO! I was joking!) -

In a hope to get to our regularly scheduled thread...
Michael Moore is nothing more than a mouthpiece for his side of the spectrum. As someone else mentioned, he's no different than a Sarah Palin or James O'Keefe. There is plenty of data showing his duplicitous ways.
The Occupy Movement is a popular one...and one I don't completely disagree with. Moore is someone you want at your rally since he is highly polarizing and draws in more people. The Tea Party has done the same thing. -
Yeah we should not poke at them like this because of disagreement or opposition. It's folly and we should pray instead that everyone gain Christ. Let's remember that Mr. Moore is worth the blood of Jesus.
