Yeah, I guess I'm just a cranky person, but I really dislike stuff like this. I've had things similar happen at events I've been to. You go to the event for the sake of the event, and then the entire thing is taken over by some individual family doing their celebration. Yes, I'm happy for the people in these situations, but do you really need to intrude on every else's lives around you and take up our time for your personal celebrations?
