I found Liddy's comments to be crude and in poor taste.

I have no problem criticizing Sotomayor's positions, but these kinds of statements hurt the credibility of the (IMO) much more legitimate complaints.

I find Libby's comment as disgustingly inappropriate, unneccessarily sexist and disrespectful, unfitting for polite company and particularly mixed including a forum boarc and more characteristic of pig talk, 'dirty ole men'.... or slutty street talk. This is just proof that some men are fools.... and some ole fools don't change (GL). Where are the gentlemen and politie men? .... aren't posting in this thread!

 

Does anyone take G. Gordon Liddy's comments seriously? This is the guy who held his hand over a flame until the flesh was burned.

 

Less than 20 mins after posting... RS reaches his conclusion.... and less than 10mins after his posting ....MP agrees..... all in less than 20 mins of oringinal post.... absurd and no objectivity!

Catcher, the word "menstruating" is not a "bad" word, nor impolite. Secondly, unless evil is exposed, it thrives. Liddy is an idiot. Thirdly, you have a female moderator who applauds this man's action. How an adult conversation is "slutty street talk" (as you put it) is the sign of some serious hang-ups.

Nothing was said that was crude, except the way Liddy uses his disdain for the female gender as a way to slam a nominee to the Supreme Court. Discuss her quaification, not the fact that she has (or may have once had) menses.
