As the case continues to unravel, is it possible Farook's mom knew more then she initially said? And if she did know of the bombs and guns, should she be deported for not reporting suspicions to DHS?
You are like the winds that blow over the waste lands .... contrary!
No bigotry intended; just asking that if she is found to be knowledgeable, but not involved in a way she can be charged with anything, criminally, should we strip her of her citizenship; and deport?
Since when does the legal process include stripping people of citizenship and deporting them? I think it's a valid question that Zaac asked. If the last name here was O'Keefe would you want to strip citizenship and deport to Ireland?
If she knew about it she was involved. People need to quit with the 'I'm not a bigot, but...' disclaimers and stop allowing the PC police to effect what they say.
Reading can be challenging for some. But no one questioned whether or not she was involved and THAT had nothing to do with the bigotry. What we questioned was why would we try to deport her? Deport her to where? She's a US citizen.
Strange but I agree with Matt on this and to answer his question I believe it was George W. Bush and the neocons idea to strip people of their citizenship and deport or jail them indefinitely.
Think that's in the military commissions act Bush signed.
That's just a fraction of the Bush/neocon power grabs.
They were just acting on Rahm Emanuel's advice to not let a serious crisis go to waste. Or maybe the neocons gave Rahm that advice?
Either way they all seem to hold to the same strategy to increase their own power reduce civil liberties
and cover their own butts.
But to give Bush some credit he wasn't so brazen as to claim he had the authority to execute American citizens without due process. His "legal team" might have believed it but I can't remember any of them saying it.
