They also missed the word "indivisible," but no one seems to be flipping out about that, assuming that NBC is advocating the right of states to secede. -
Our WWII soldiers didn't recite it with "under God", and I would not question their dedication or patriotism. As a secular republic, it really is not needed. It breaks up the thought of "one nation, indivisible" which goes together...one thing that cannot be divided. The wording placement is awkward and intrusive.
