I wanted to see who all here is involved in their church's music ministry. I sing second tenor in my church's choir and a vocal ensemble. The choir sings every Sunday morning and some Sunday nights that our youth choir isn't.

I don't sing in the choir and try not to allow anyone to hear me sing. Trust me, that's the best involvement possible for me :).

I play the electric lead guitar in our worship band at my church.
Our band includes a piano player, 3 or 4 acoustic guitar players, singers, and percussion in the form of tamborines and cymbols.
We consider our music to be very much a ministry. -
I am involved in the church's music ministry. I sing when the band is playing during the services.

I am not only the pastor but the worship leader and choir director. I was in music ministry for about 20 years before God moved me into the pastorate. My music buds say that I have gone to the "dark side."

My husband was the worship pastor before he moved over to start our church plant but he still leads worship regularly. He has been a musician since he was a child and was also in the audio industry as a computer (hardware and software) engineer so he is pretty knowledgeable in all things music and sound.
My 17 year old sings and she's on my husband's worship team.
Me? I sing happily in the sound booth as I make sure that all of the words are on the screen at the right time. :) That's as close to musical I'll ever get. -
When I retired from my pastorate five years ago and joined a different church, they had just lost their organist. I volunteered to play for the hymns only -- preludes, anthems, etc. are accompanied by an excellent pianist. It has been fun getting my 50-year-old skills back, although my role is often interrupted by supply preaching appointments (and an 18-month interim pastorate). Today, for the first time, I did more than just hymns, as we did an arrangement of "Alleluia, Sing to Jesus" on the Hyfrydol tune that involved quite a bit of extra organ work. Thrilling!
Our instrument is an older Rogers electronic (model 990). I could wish for pipes, but this isnit' bad. -
I lead worship, arrange songs and play piano in our services. I also direct the choir.

I am the president of our Adult Choir. I sing bass. I also serve on our Worship Committee which helps plan music for special services (e. g., Advent, Good Friday, etc.).

I only sing solos.-----------in the shower----------at my house--------with all the doors close between me and whoever may be in the house.

I have been playing electric bass in our church's "praise band" for a little over a year - Chris Tomlin, Travis Cotrell, Hillsong, stuff like that. It's a whole new genre to me but they tolerate me and my inexperience.
It's the only thing I'm doing in terms of ministry right now, and since the death of my oldest son in June 2008 it's the only thing I'm doing musically as well. -

I sing tenor in my church choir although I'm more of a baritone. But, there's not much call for a baritone in the simple music that we use for our choir.

Hitting 2000 and I love to sing.

I am a sub for our choir. I also direct a kids choir at a local Christian School. Since they're usually on a tight budget, I will arrange my own music to save money.
