Study out today said BOTH men and women nag.
Think this is valid? Think it reflects my house? Youbetcha.

Wel if they'd have asked me I'd have told them men nag as much as women do. :D
-
My husband doesn't nag me. I do what I'm told the first time.
-
Diane,
Is your nose getting longer? -
LOL
-
Just like every time the wife and I fight, I always get in the last word.
"Yes, dear." -
-
Just remember those three magic words: "You're right, dear"

I try not to nag. I don't perceive myself as a nagger. Usually, if my man won't do it, I try to do it myself. Which isn't a pretty thing. Actually, what can work sometimes is to ask to borrow his tools. He will add himself to the euation , then, to protect his tools from the Sagmeister.
But, I will say that My man is more of a nagger but there is a little whine with his cheese. I respond occasionally to both the whine and the nag, but not like I respond to him buttering my brea, if you know what I mean. -
One thing I am not is a nag. I may be a lot of other things, but not that; I learned early in parenthood not to do it. I would rather clamp my mouth shut and go away than nag.
When the children were little, and the desire to nag came on, I would say what I had to say, limiting myself to three sentences, then I would say, "That is the end of the subject unless you bring it up again."
Now that they are grown and gone, I have no need to nag; my husband is a sweetheart. And he doesn't nag me either. -
Telling the truth Dan! Jim always has a list of things for me to do and calls me a bunch each day asking me to send emails or check things in his office and it really interfers with MY stuff but I do it right away. ;) I am well trained!

Rob:
Sheila (rapidly trying to think of an answer) :D -
I'm at my daughter's house (on a REAL computer with REAL Internet access), and I just had to show my granddaughter your post. Love it!
-
LOL :D

. Now as I remeber it...some 30 years ago I was stood next to my new husband (Rob) in church and Revvie Jone (who performed the ceremony) said that I shouldn't nag and Rob shouldn't fall asleep in front of the television. Now, he does fall asleep, but do I nag... no, of course I don't :D I have merely become proficient in communicating my requests and ideas that's all.

Amein, Mike! Love is learning how to say, "I'm
sorry!" :)
My husband told me that a guy at his office said
that he starts each day, before he gets out of bed,
by telling his wife, "I'm sorry!" He hopes that will
cover his indiscretions for the day. -

Getting Serious Here now...
Love, in MY opinion, is thinking more highly of others than yourself so that you do not constantly need to have your self worth validated.
Am I getting TOO serious here? When I moderated another board (resigned to mod. here), we had numerous women 'husband bash' because 'he doesn't love me the way I richly deserve to be loved'. Where DO they get those terms? WHO deserves to be so richly loved? Not me, for sure!! I am honored my husband loves me! I am really honored that God loves me!
I don't think I deserve constant 'I'm sorry's'! Shucks... we would all have to spend every minute of every day telling our Father God how sorry we are for the sorry state of our lives!
O.K. Back to the silliness.......
