Logical fallacy with no basis in fact. You have no rational reason for suggesting that the President will appoint himself to the Supreme Court. None whatsoever. <PA edited - LE>

While I agree that there's no rational reason to suggest Obama would do that, it isn't slander.

You have accused Lady Eagle of slander. Don't you know that slander of public figures is almost impossible. Personally I believe it would be impossible to slander this vicious killer of the unborn or just born. -
You're right. It isn't slander. It's something else entirely, but it isn't slander.
Accusations happen. I've endured accusations on here too. Life's tough and we all need a helmet. Got my helmet of salvation on right now.
PS When did Obama slaughter innocent children? And if he did, does that mean you are saying Bush slaughtered innocent people (and children) in his "war on terror"? -
It sounds like sour grapes cuz your guy lost and that's fine. Just tell me why your guy was the moral choice when he left his wife because she had an accident?
I couldn't wait for the day when a Democrat was president again so you guys could see what it's like to be in the minority. Now I have to wonder because you all just don't shut up. You sound exactly the way you all thought Democrats sounded when Bush was the President. -

Concerning the war on terror, I assume you are aware of the 500,000 Iraqi women & children who starved to death under the Clinton/Gore/Albright sanctions ? The 'war on terror" was going on long before G.W. Bush came along. -
Abortion is not a war against a terrorist group or national enemy/threat. Abortion is the murder of innocent life. That is an abomination...

O, and newsflash, neither the Democratic or Republican Parties are the answer to our nation's struggles. Both parties are corrupt, both parties are bought and paid for by special interests, and neither party will change anything for the better. Eight years of Clinton, eight years of Bush, eight years of Obama, makes no difference. Regardless of what party is in power we, the American people, are going to get the short end of the stick.

By the way, why do you call me a liar by implying that my screen name differs from fact? My post was intended to show what I felt is arrogance, and was intended to be somewhat humorous. You however chose to become offensive in your response by basically calling me a liar, then painting all who disagree with you with the broad brush of "sour grapes". However, I do not take seriously your comments since this sort of attack seems to a favorite tactic of the O kool-aid drinkers. "you guys" just can't seem to help yourself. Oh well:BangHead: -

As to Obama's record on abortion, you can read and even see videos about Obamas willful killing of innocent babies both before birth and after birth and his voting record as well as what God has to say about it as an abomination for shedding innocent blood and a lying tongue in my signature.
I would be interested if anyone can point out in the Constitution where it says a President cannot appoint himself to the Supreme Court. -

No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been encreased during such time: and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office.Click to expand... -
Although I see the characteristics of narcissistic personality in Obama, I'm also concerned about another more insidious problem...... which breaks with reality....... that of delusions of grandeur. He is already in a position of leadership and power to support such feelings..... but his beliefs and use of increasing debt to support bailouts expecting the very cause of our failing economy will remedy it by more of the same, his belief in the power to almost singularly mastermind change and the turn around of economy, all the programs he thinks he can start, his self confidence and reliance on the international scene, etc. etc., give me cause to wonder.

windcatcher said: ↑LadyEagle, the closest thing I find in the CoUS, is in Article 1 Section 6, 2nd para:
As I read this, the only constraints upon dual office or holding positions is on Senators and Representatives in the US Congress. While it is unlikely a person would self appoint himself onto the judicial bench of the SOCTUS, I don't see where it is impossible or unlawful. In such case, the approval processes would have to be given as with any other appointment. I believe a case could be raised concerning the separation of powers if such were attempted.Click to expand...
