    There is no salvation outside of belief of the Gospel.

    God doesn't 'damn' anyone. Men condemn themselves for choosing not to believe in the Gospel. God doesn't willfully throw anyone into the fire unless they first make the conscious choice to be thrown in.

    That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:12)

    He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Mark 16:16)

    For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. (John 3:17)

    Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. (John 3:18)

    Along with that truth, these verses clearly show that man chooses to believe the truth or not, thus condemning themselves or entering into salvation which God grants to every person who believes upon His son.
