The always "cool" Obama remained in charge the other night when he was disrupted by a group supporting the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" group. His response was to invite them on the stage.
I'll bet the Secret Service had to scramble in case these folks took him up on the invite. And, for sure there must have been a big collective sigh of relief when the protesters failed to take Obama up on his invitation. :1_grouphug:

He seemed pretty flummoxed to me.
Asking them if they wanted to come up was more of a smart alec remark than a sincere offer. -
