We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.....
These words were edited out of transcripts of his July 2nd speech in Colorado Springs. in the Wall Street Journaland Denver Post

This man is the pure essence of evil.
I cannot think of another Presidential candidate that even comes close to his distain for anything resembling the Constitution.
Can we spell coup d'e-tat? I heard a caller on the KFI, Jon and Ken Talk Show state that the military commanders in DC are ready to take over the country should Obama do something stupid in regard to that Biden prophecy about a major world wide crisis to test Obama.
If he were to build up some kind of internal national military force, the statement I heard on the Jon and Ken Show may become reality.
Of course, that is assuming Obama wins. According to the AOL weekly straw poll, McCain leads Obama 112,665 to 70,881. That is quite a big number considering all the other polls out there that show Obama winning. I believe the AOL straw poll is correct, and McCain will upset "the One" who was destined for the throne!!!
I may be open to your idea but for a different reason.
We were talking at church yesterday, and the man I was going to vote for is a pastor.
If one is called to be a pastor, it is usually a lifetime call.
If it is not a lifetime call, and God is telling that person to do something else, like run for President, then why would he hold onto his church as a backup job.
That bothers me.
It is not a regular job like I have.
It is a call from God.
Another thing, my opinion of Obama has gone in the past two weeks from an obnoxious flaming liberal to someone quite evil and a threat to this country.
Do you really think the American people would stand by and watch...I feel there are plenty of Americans who will not tolerate the direction Obama would like drag us.
I, along with many others have never been so prayerful and concerned about our country... There is such an uneasiness in the air...as if you can feel evil lurking around the corner.
These are the most precarious of times...
I think you have it right. The "WHO" could be us. What does he need a civilian army for?? "And who would be in his Army.
The thing that bothers me is that all America is watching on the tube sports of their liking and wouldn't want anything to disrupt their pleasure. Somewhere down the road, maybe soon or later, we are going to suffer all sorts of evil that man can imagine.
Even so LORD JESUS,COME QUICKLY!!

Consumers are racing to local gun shops, fearing an Obama presidency could lead to a ban on guns.
During the annual NRA convention, John McCain told members, if Obama was elected, he would put unfair restrictions on gun owners.
Jim McClain, owner of Jim's Firearms on Siegen Lane, has seen a 10% increase in sales compared with last years sales.
"A lot of people are coming in buying semi autos, pumpshot guns, things like that they may or may not be able to purchase within the next four years."
McClain says stricter gun laws will just create more crime.
"As far as your normal average citizen, no I don't think they are going to go to illegal means, but criminals can always get guns."....
There are those that accused bush of planning a coup and were wrong of course.
Obama has given us fair warning.
He intends to use force if necessary to bring about his brand of redistribution of wealth and sinful liberal lifestyle.
