A right-winger is one who is very conservative on most political issues across the board.

What issues? Who decides who is a right winger? It seems to be more of a pejorative catch-all term. I am often grouped with people I do not like or don't even know of because I'm pro-life or believe in the literal 6 days of creation. Then people find out I'm an ex-astrologer, ex-New Ager, talk to Wiccans and Satanists, am for gun control, am NOT a Republican (my mother worked for the Dems and my grandmother voted straight Democrat tickets all her life), am vegetarian, lean toward animal rights (though not like I once did) and bingo - they're confused.
I do not fit any label, liberal or conservative, and dislike being put in those groups.
