That cop's life was never in any danger over a traffic violation or with anything that child did. And to shoot that child SEVEN times after pulling him over for flashing his high beams is absolutely DISGUSTING.
Taser juvenile while laying on pavement? Check.
Shoot juvenile after he escaped cop? Check.
Crime committed? Flashing high beams at cop and then being belligerent when pulled over.
Death sentence? Check.
Really? What has the autopsy revealed as to where the kid was shot?
You are continually and systematically ignoring that the juvenile delinquent physically assaulted the police officer, causing him significant head trauma. Of course, it doesn't fit your narrative so you just decide to ignore it.
If a 17 year old physically attacked you and caused you significant head trauma, would you simply remain passive and allow the attack to continue?
Really, Matt? Show me where something DIDN'T happen? You know better than that.
Watch the end of the video. There's about 8 seconds from the point the kid got up and started to run to the first shot being heard. When is this kid going to attack the cop?
This is why the autopsy is important. How far away was the cop from the kid? Where was the kid shot?
The entry point was the front of the kid and it was close range. Again, these facts are already available, but you'll need to do more than watch a video to obtain them. Of course, I expect (as you've already done) that you'll dismiss the facts because you believe they are from a biased source (the cops).
The doctor that confirms significant head trauma to the cop wasn't a cop...why don't you believe that?
Frost said Guilford attacked him, knocking him on his back and punching him in the face before he shot the boy. The fight itself was not caught on video. But Eaton County Prosecuting Attorney Douglas Lloyd reviewed other evidence, including wounds on Frost's face, and agreed with the officer's account, calling Guilford the aggressor and concluding that Frost acted in self-defense.
What kind of a cop lets a 17 year old boy who has just been tased, beat him up?
Where's the autopsy report?
Interesting that we were told to wait for the autopsy report before passing judgment on Darren Wilson (MIchael Brown's shooter) but in this case we apparently don't need to see it.
The kid was shot seven times. Presumably there were seven entry points. Were the shot locations consistent with a struggle? Was the cop on the ground shooting upwards? Was there abrasions on Deven Guilford's knuckles? Give me a link to the autopsy report, please.
From the report: Sgt.Frost explained in his written statement
that, at this point, because of statements previously made by Deven during the traffic stop, he suspected that this driver may have been part of a sovereign nation or militia movement and feared that the phone call being made was to summon others to come to the scene.
Really? What kind of an idiot is this cop? What possible indication was there that Deven was part of a militia group? Ridiculous.
If you read the report and the autospy you will see that all shots traveled at a downward angle through Deven's body. However, the cop said that he was on the ground with Deven sitting on his hips and punching him in the face and head. So how do bullets go through Deven's body on a downward trajectory when he is sitting on top of the cop?
It appears the cop's final shot was a head shot since all other body shots were from an "intermediate range" but the head shot was from close range and there was soot on the skin.
