Beats trying to wrap and smoke a turkey!

BTW, when at the fish market, ALL fish is wrapped in newspaper. But not smoked!

I can live without fish. Don't like the bones... BUT I love seafood! I love fried oysters, lobster, crab, clams, scallops, etc. Lobster is my favorite and fried oysters is second. YUM!

So has anyone tried the new Guacamole Chips? They're pretty good. Remind me of Salt and Vinegar chips. Those are the only chips I eat. Not much of a snack food person anyhow.

Pepsi and Coke are trying to develop a lower calorie soda without the killer junk that's in the diet drinks. I bet I drink 6 Pepsi's a day! Full strength please...

I've been clean and sober off all soda and soft drinks for 5 years. Best move I ever made. Don't get me started preaching here . . .

Our daughter and her family live in Maine. Erin says it gets really cold there and stays cold! We used to camp in Maine and do a bit of mountain climbing.
Beautiful Country!

The poor board is acting older than Dr. Bob tonight with all this pruning and cleaning up! LOL.

So, are all the old codgers already snoring in their rocking chairs? I'm ready for bed and it's not even 9:00!

It's 10:36 PM EST - and I've been here about an hour - had to answer 3 PMs - and it took a while to get through the coffee house post I missed today.

I did some spackling on the walls.

The plaster dries my hands out quite badly.

Dan - old codger - with real old codger hands!

Hey, I'm finally done with my sermon prep and can come here to harrass all the old folks at home.

WOODSTOCK? Man, I drove through there on my way from Moncton to Edmunston. I remember fields and trees. Or was that Quebec? Or Ontario? Or . .

Woodstock - little yellow bird in the Sunday funnies, along with Snoopy and Charlie Brown!

From Woodstock to Edmunston you would be facing Quebec, heading into Riviere-du-loupe on the Trans-Canada Highway. Plenty of woods in New Brunswick. Along the way you are following the Maine-New Brunswick border.

EC1001, Do you attend the United Baptist Church in Woodstock? I seem to recall we have a Fellowship Baptist Church there as well. I was with the United Baptist Convention when I was in Nova Scotia.

Cheers,

Jim

Has it been unseasonally cold in the Northeast? TV and news seem to indicate it is REALLY BAD. I've always thought of Upstate NY, VT, NH and ME as being like northern Minnesota!

It seems to me that it has been colder than usual for a longer period of time than usual.

We always get some cold weather - but it usually doesn't last this long.

Talked to daughter and son-in-law from nothern Vermont (home of Dean, Sanders, Leahy, and Jefferds - all liberal democrats except Sanders - who is a socialist) and it was -20ºF yesterday.

Too cold!

Dan - hate this cold!

Well we might get an ice storm tomorrow so half the state is closing down. Schools, churches, businesses, LOL. By tomorrow morning it'll be almost impossible to find bread, milk and bottled water. LOL

Snow started up again during church, but a small group (25 or so) made it out. Great time in the Word.
