I'll say the most interesting thing about this OP was and is in its objective, that is, that it has proven those arguing against the doctrine of Irresistible Grace have no idea what the doctrine means whatsoever.
Mission accomplished.
Some here ought not be so confident in their assertions when they don't even understand the doctrine they are fighting against, nor the truth that it teaches.
Many have assumed they know what it teaches but prove otherwise, and clearly by their responses have proven they remain uninformed about it altogether. By merely replying against this doctrine one is suggesting and implying knowledge of what the doctrine means.

Those that are born again can tell when the Holy Spirit is working. They can see the results of where the Holy Spirit has been, especially in a revival as it was in Samaria in Acts 8. We don't know where the Holy Spirit may start another work (as in Samaria) next. Perhaps it will be in Corinth. But once started we will be able to tell for the results will be evident.
Just as the working of the wind cannot be understood or controlled by man, nor can the Holy Spirit by understood or controlled by man. Salvation is of the Lord. It is through the operation of the Holy Spirit. However, according to John 1:12, it is always to be received by faith. -
