I believe that the Democrats will at least take control of the House and make some gains in the Senate, although I am skeptical of them gaining control of the Senate. It's quite possible, but not probable.
Here in Texas, enthusiasm for Beto is quite strong and Ted Cruz is not well liked. I don't know if that will be enough to unseat Cruz, but it certainly doesn't help him.

I'm convinced now of this 'backlash', it's real. Democrats showed their true colors for all to see, AND, AND, they're STILL showing their true colors by not trying to calm all the violence that they've incited amongst their wacko protesters. Wait & see, hide & watch, the violence that the Dims are egging on will be their undoing.

BOOM! Another new poll confirms that Ted Cruz has BIG LEAD over Beto O’Rourke

Beto O'Rourke is a long shot and has always been a long shot. The real story is that he is enough of a challenger to make Cruz extremely nervious. Moreover, Cruz has asked Trump to come to Texas. That may not go as well as they hope.
The election has not occurred yet, but I do know that Cruz is unpopular. A large number of Republicans hold their nose to vote for him. He gets votes because of party loyalty. But people are not so loyal to the Republican Party as you might think. The President is not popular and not the economy is sagging after the President has gotten us into a trade war.
If the economy continues the decline, Cruz and the rest of the Republicans are going to find themselves on the street.
