Who needs an altar when Jesus fulfilled all the ordinances of sactifice once and for all ? That what an altar was used for-animal sacrifices.

But we DO have a CROSS on the wall behind the pastor's pulpit. There's no better reminder of Jesus besides the Bible.

So why "Hail Mary"? She's DEAD. Her soul is in paradise; she knows nothing about what's going on here. Prayers to her (or to any other dead person)don't go beyond the ceiling.

    1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Although one prominent Southern Baptist preacher, Mark Dever, did say this week that he turns to Roman Catholic churches, when he wants to hear Scripture:

Baptist pastor: Scripture read aloud sure beats the loud music featured in so many of our churches

"The Baptist pastor...underscored the importance of publicly reading Scripture aloud, noting that many evangelical churches do not spend time doing that anymore. When he goes on vacation he says he has to go to a Roman Catholic church for a reliable place to find that"

"He urged attendees to slow the pace of the service and allow more time for silence, recounting a time when someone told him he was grateful for the opportunity to be silent in church. He loves his home church but it wore him out with the hurried nature of the service, Dever said."

And on prayers, Dever recommended that churches:

"Spend so much time in prayer in your morning service that you will bore those nominal Christians who only pretend to believe in God"

Nest time, let your lithuim & Thorazine kick in before you post.

The rosary aint Scripture. It's simply a RC chant.

And Mary didn't come back from the dead to speak to Dominic. That's an old wives' tale.

Mariolatry is just a continuation of the "queena hevvin" junk of Nimrod & Semiramis, with Mary being subbed for Semiramis. That's why the whole mess is called "mystery, Babylon" in Rev. 17.

    Semiramis - Wikipedia

"Alexander Hislop... claimed that the Catholic Church was a millennia-old secret conspiracy, founded by Semiramis and the Biblical king Nimrod....Hislop believed that Semiramis was...mother of Nimrod, builder of the Bible's Tower of Babel...He said that Semiramis and Nimrod's incestuous male offspring was the Akkadian deity Tammuz, and that all divine pairings in religions were retellings of this story. These claims are still circulated among some groups of evangelical Protestants in the form of Jack Chick tracts"

    And he says this:

    HOW TRUE !
Jesus does NOT need His mom to fill in for Him, nor anyone else, except the Holy Spirit as Teacher. Salvation & Godly living have nothing to do with Mary.

AOBTW its not Mary's fault but the fault of the Pontifex Maximus who made Jesus mother "Queen of heaven".

Blah, Blah Blah and no one is questioning that. No one in their right mind. But men are mediators between men and Christ, and know that from this:John 20:20-22
    Jesus Appears to the Disciples
…20After He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. 21Again Jesus said to them, “Peace be with you. (As the Father has sent Me, so also I am sending you.)” 22When He had said this, He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.…

Get over it Hank and stop dividing scripture against scripture as though they will implode! It is clear with the Holy Spirit you are sent out As Christ was sent= in like manner. We are mediators between Christ and men just as mother Mary is . Learn what mediator means.

She does not take His place she UPHOLDS His place and comes in His name not her own. And with your mindset jezebel , it is clear that for sure Christ doesn't need your type to fill in for Him because you would have to have the Holy Spirit to be that. And that still does not make you a replacement but rather obedient to the Order.
Prove it "aint" scripture jezebel. I am only seeing a bunch of smack but NO evidence. You would have no chance even in man's court of law with your gibberish. And right now you are before God's court.

Hmmm? Well is she a queen, yes or no Hank? Is she in heaven? Is Sara called queen ? Is Mary Blessed among women? So that would mean she is blessed with something even greater than Sara's. What do we receive in heaven HANK? What are these thrones, crowns and scepters, the Lord speaks of? Is she the mother of the King of kings ? If he is a King, how is she not a queen? Is she of a royal blood line , being of the Lineage of David? This is how Christ is called Son of David, which simply means of the lineage or BLOOD LINE OF DAVID, NO? Are you kidding me?

Again as I said , replacement theology, that is what you people are into to make yourselves a replacement for the teachings of Christ. And dare take titles like Reverend (to be revered or revered one) and pastor -pater (father) And you have the nerve to condemn others? Hypocrites! Liars! brood of vipers, you gag out gnats and swallow camels. And greater than that ,YOU try to kill the servants of God before others and make yourselves as the queen bee in charge. As I said jezebel, only that which is worse than a dog would eat your works for even the dogs would not eat jezebels hands.

With all this spewing forth of the waters of diluting, it is no wonder what is coming.
    Wow! just wow!

The only thing any child of God can gather from you Baptist is, that you are against the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. Yet you honor yourselves ,your sovereign nations, and their presidents (kings). Their flags and their soldiers and all things that will perish including your doctrinal teachings.

You are not Elect nor can you be taught. :"I have given her time to repent, but she does not repent of her immorality" . Those who fornicate with you = accept you doctrine will die ! Upon a sick bed with you and she will die the second death just as will her children!

The KINGDOM OF HEAVEN SHALL ALWAYS STAND! And the accusers of the brethren (saints) will be cast into the eternal fire away from the Love of God. A just sentence for those who show NO love for the brethren and call the Queen of heaven (Christ's Mother) one not worthy to be reverenced , not a queen of heaven, yet you try to teach on matters concerning heaven. Bad things coming for this evil congregation! " Many in those days will say to Me , LORD , Lord did we not prophesy in your name, cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?" I will say to these, DEPART FROM ME I never knew YOU, WORKERS OF LAWLESSNESS. Into the fire reserved for all evil and the devil and his angels".

You do NOTHING in His name you only use His name, is what Christ is saying. And all your works and so called mighty works .....they are of the devil!

There's no doubt Nimrod & Semiramis founded a religion. That was known before Hislop's fiction, & has been since affirmed. the tower of Babel was a ziggurat, intended to be as tall as could be built & to house a shrine at its top. (A few known ziggurats reached over 300 ft. in height, the tallest-known buildings of some 5K years ago!)

Nimrod & Semiramis had a son from their incestuous relationship named Tammuz. He became a hunter as Nimrod had been, but, while still a young man, he was killed by a wild boar. Nim & Sem declared a mourning period for him, to be observed every year.

Archaeologists began discovering the facts about Nim, Sem, & their religion while researching ancient Akkadian writings, trying to discover the story behind this verse of Scripture-Ezekiel 8:14 So He brought me to the door of the north gate of the Lord’s house; and to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz.

While they were at it, they found the basis for the following verse-Jeremiah 7:18 The children gather wood, the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead dough, to make cakes for the queen of heaven; and they pour out drink offerings to other gods, that they may provoke Me to anger. and also Jeremiah 44:17-25.

Parts of this religion carried into Assyria, founded by Nimrod's descendant Asshur, and into Persia & Babylon as well (As Babylon had absorbed much of Assyria, which in turn was largely absorbed by Persia.) Those last two had controlled the Jews, of course, and some Jews, believing the Babylonian and Persian gods to be stronger than God, as these nations had ruled Judah, began worshipping their gods. And apparently, small groups of Jews had maintained these practices after Jeremiah's time, as Ezekiel's vision was for yet-future events.

So, it's likely that the "queena hevvin" idea was spread among the early RCC by some of those Jews, as many of the early ones were themselves Jews. Over the years, the queen became Mary, as those RCs realized Semiramis was not queena hevvin, nor did they pay homage to Tammuz. But some of Nim & Sem's ideas continued !

"Hail favored one (Mary), the Lord is with you". (Luke 1:28) - the opening words of the prayer come directly from the scriptures. Her body might be dead, but her soul lives on. She is as alive in Christ as you are me are and will continue to be even after our own mortal bodies no longer function. And this is part of the crux of the matter, this thing called the "Communion of Saints" and the idea that we can ask them to pray for us here on earth.

Yes, how true. So then we must stop praying for each other, lest some think we are acting as intercessors between man and God.

Her body is not dead she has already received her imperishable body( Put on perpetually Virginity) when Christ arouse and ascended to His rest with the Ark of His strength. In which His saints shout for joy for and the priest are clothed in righteousness, for believing in .
As with many Psalms this too is a prophecy:
    Psalm 132:7-9
…7Let us go to His dwelling place; let us worship at His footstool. 8Arise, O LORD, to Your resting place, You and the ark of Your strength. 9May Your priests be clothed with righteousness, and Your saints shout for joy.…

Now tell me what Ark did Christ take up with Him when He arouse to His resting place? Can't wait to hear what the prophetess jezebel has to say about this.

The altar is the center of the church, the place where the sacrifice of the Cross is made present sacramentally. It is also represents the banquet table of the Lord to which the People of God are invited to active participation, so I would say it is an important part of worship. I can readily understand how for those whose worship service puts the pulpit at the center of their weekly gathering, such a thing means nothing and is therefore worthless.
