Not sure what you are referring to . . . . are you referring to the recent offer by the Holy Father to receive Anglicans back into full communion with the RCC?

B-G's an SSPXer, so I guess for her any development like this is one more step down the slippery slope that began with the Pontificate of John XXIII. I hope I haven't misrepresented you there, B-G - is that about accurate?

The SSPX'ers aren't in communion with Rome, are they? I know that's a loaded question.

No, they are not in communion with Rome. I do, however, understand some of their objections to the Novus Ordo.

Do you think every mass should be the extrodinary?

I don't know if I have been Catholic long enough to know what you are referring. Could you clarify 'extrodinary' for me?

    No, they should be cancelled.

Au contraire, the SSPX has been re-admitted to communion with Rome in the last few months by +++Benedict*, who seems to be trying to embrace this lot to his right as well as the TAC to his left.

*Including a rather unpleasant British 'bishop' by the name of Rihard Williamson, who denies the Holocaust.

As a matter of fact, I just read about the controversy. I also read that the Vatican was unaware of the bishops holocaust claim at the time he was admitted back into communion.

Typically the media twisted his speech, but even so just because he states an opinion does not mean the SPPX endorses his ideas.

Having since read several articles on the subject, I understand the Anglican Church is divided over the admission into the clerical realm, homosexuals and women....so it is not the whole of the Anglican rather the conservative or dare I say the Traditional end of the spectrum.

More so than a couple of years ago what with the Motu Proprio and the lifting of the excommunication status of the bishops which was a canonical legal bunkum any old how.....so at present at least meetings are a happening thang.

What was the comment about holy water....it is a sacramental...it is not to be bought and sold

I think the comment on Holy Water is a joke. Though I beg to differ with you I've seen it sold in this and other countries. Also note that there is nothing special about holy water save that it is set asside for a partular purpose. Which is what Holy means.

If the Pope of Rome came up to me and offered to accept me into *communion* with his "church" I would say "No chance of it ever happening, friend, but could I persuade you to join MY organization?....

    ....The body of Christ. Christianity."

The conservative and catholic end. The conservative and evangelical end is a different matter...

It is quite amazing that so many aspects of a failed, evil, and hollow system like the Catholic Church are discussed in such depth. The whole entity has no substance, and frankly, is not worth one second of thought of any living being.
