Do you mean the one that is based on the 12 steps?

I received a copy of their NT awhile back, and I remember at the time thinking that it has some errors in it's notes, but I can't think of what they were right now. I might have to go back and look at it again.
I do know that it was published by the group affiliated with Witness Lee (or was it Watchman?) -
The Recovery Version is published by Living Stream Ministry which is the publishing arm of the Local Church movement headed up by Witness Lee, a cult leader and betrayer of Christian missionaries. The Recovery Version says that Baptists are "spiritual fornicators" for taking on a name other than that of Christ!
I would burn the thing if I were you! -
Thanks,
Michael -
I recieved a copy a while back I actually enjoyed the text don't pay any attention to the notes. I also did not know Witness Lee was a betrayer of Christian missionaries! I did however know that those gentlemen Witness Lee and Watchmen Nee were both modalist but it doesn't effect the translation I'm not so sure about the notes.

That's why I was asking -- I was not sure if this Recovery Bible was one using the 12 steps (there is one, an NIV) or the one from the Local Church and Witness Lee. The Local Church teaches that they are the only true church. They also deny the Trinity and teach other questionable things. I certainly would not want their Bible.
The Local Church is also very suit-happy. They recently sued Harvest House Publishers and John Ankerburg ministries for a statement in one of Ankerburg's books that called the Local Church a cult. Harvest House and Ankerberg prevailed.

Thanks for your comments... It didn't take me long to realize how off the notes were in it... The notes teach that baptism is required for salvation....
What about the text.... If the notes are off, I figure the text is too...
