Over the last few years I have written my two Senators and the House member from my district asking them to disavow any "no tax pledge" they may have signed with Norquist. I have pointed out that Norquist is not elected and he certainly does not represent me. He is viewed as a Conservative but I have my doubts. I believe Norquist is simply a con artist, a sponge.
On the House floor Rep. Wolf from Virginia called Norquist out. I have included excerpts from news coverage.

Norquist calls attacks from GOP congressman ‘disgusting’
By Chris Moody | The Ticket – Tue, Oct 4, 2011
Conservative activist Grover Norquist responded to attacks from Virginia Republican Rep. Frank Wolf Tuesday, calling Wolf's accusations that Norquist was connected to terrorists "disgusting" and saying they were copied from "racist websites."
Norquist, the president of Americans for Tax Reform, a group that has convinced all but six House Republicans to pledge never to raise taxes, has been sparring with with Wolf for some time. Norquist has refused to support a commission that would consider tax increases as a way to decrease the federal deficit--while Wolf has long supported a deficit-reduction plan that would combine spending reductions with tax hikes, a proposal Norquist has fought for decades.GOP Rep. Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.) on Tuesday ripped the Grover Norquist tax pledge and the tax activist himself.
Wolf criticized Norquist's pledge, which most Republicans have taken in promising to not raise taxes, and said Norquist had used it to advance other issues he said most voters would oppose.
He also slammed the conservative for profiting from "unsavory people" and questioned Norquist's background.

In a speech today on the House floor, Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA) expressed concern about Grover Norquist’s influence on the political process in Washington and his association with several individuals, groups and causes many would consider unsavory.

Grover Norquist is very pro-muslim and influenced a lot of GW Bush policies that were not good for our nation. A lot. Look it up on google.

The roots are long and deep and date back through the Bush Administration at least to the Clinton Administration, hard to follow all the ties and all of the influence on key national security policies and money trails (taxpayer money trails). Very corrupt and treasonous, IMO.
I posted about Grover Norquist on this very board and his influence on the WH during the Bush administration. Probably all of my links and old postings have been purged from the BB and the Internet, too, by now.
