That is very possible since I know nothing about the man, but I do know some things about Rick Perry and the statement is true about him.

Yes, I suppose I do have a somewhat defeatist attitude.

I'll vote for those who will protect us from real (not imagined) enemies.

But, I know to much about human nature to hope for peace under any earthly reign.
