There is a lot of chatter that Mitt Rmoney will run for Prez again, REALLY? Is that the best the GOP can do? If he ends up being the GOP candidate, they might as well just give the Presidency to Hillary.:tonofbricks:
Never fear....they will line them up like they did last time. Ben Carson, Romney, Bush, that fat evtortionist Chris Christy, Maybe Trey Gowdy Gowdy, hopefully someone with a military background....And I would like to see Scott Walker (if he hasn't been bought by the Koch Brothers)
Maybe Mitt thinks 3 times the charm.....will he use his own money?
Frankly, with the DNC's positions on some issues, I think that Evangelicals who vote Democrat generally have a different standard of morality.
I doubt that it would matter to them.
The verb tense should have been that Romney would have been a good President.
There is no indication that he is running.
It has become clear that Mormonism cannot deliver because of their internal political divisions and the great number of people leaving Mormonism for their recent attempts to normalize the homosexuality within their ranks.
Therefore I am hoping for the nomination of a good Methodist, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, a former marine.
Romney has been there and probably a good choice. One thing, a woman VP, like Condi Rice, would be a good choice, IMHO. And she could restore the black vote to the GOP, and show how a strong black leader should lead. She did a good job as SoS, and give Romney the foreign diplomacy cred. IMHO of course. Plz don't kill me for this opinion. LOL
I think your analysis is interesting. I am not at all sure that Condi would accept a nomination to be VP. She might have some impact on the black vote, but I would not lay too much stress on that. It should be an interesting campaign regardless of who is running.
Condi is pro-choice and therefore is disqualified.
She is an expert on Russia in particular and foreign affairs worldwide but she is not a viable candidate and would cost the GOP another election.
I think that she is Presbyterian USA, a liberal denomination that used to be conservative and still has some conservatives here and there.
Those things will be forgotten--they were his salad days.
Look at 0bam@--if his teleprompter breaks, he can't even say hello.
Perry came from dirt poverty in rural Texas and is the longest serving Texas Governor ever.
He was a marine.
He is a staunch Methodist.
He can raise money very easily.
He is the front-runner.
