I have great respect and admiration for the 40th US President who went home to be with the Lord today. His testimony (public statements of his personal faith started back in the 60's as Governor of California) and his work for our Nation will elevate him even more in the eyes of history.

I served on a commission on Education and met President Reagan (had intimate dinner - 300 of us!) and Bill Bennett in the late 80's. He was warmer and more personable than I could imagine.

Not looking to deify or condemn, just to honor a truly good man.

President Reagan was the right man for the job in the 80s. He will be missed.

I think President Reagan was a great man. I feel sad now, but know that he had a long wonderful life and is now with the Lord.
