Wish he would resign from SBC. Go be a United Methodist.

According to the Nashville Tennessean, he is going to work for Christianity Today.
Russell Moore, head of Southern Baptist public policy arm, leaving ERLC for Christianity Today

Maybe he can now find a modern day Prophet to partner up with there?

The person in that role is not intended to represent the majority -- he or she is intended to be a voice of moral authority presenting the ethical demands of scripture.

I do agree that he does not currently represent the majority of the SBC. Perhaps the SBC can recruit Donald Trump to be their moral and ethical voice?

He is elected by majority vote, but is not expected to represent the views of the majority. Sure.

In business, a board of ethics is not supposed to represent the popular view, but the ethical view. The same goes for architecture, engineering, construction, medicine, science, and many other professional organizations.

It's a scandal that Christians don't have the same level of commitment to ethics that pagans have.

No, not that he considers himself as being a prophet, but he does see prophets given to the Church today!

What perfect, sinless person would you recommend? Joe Biden? Nancy Pelosi? Just trying to see where your coming from. Just puzzled by your response.

I noticed. I wonder if he prayed for Donald Trump while he was President as we are commanded too.

You make the assumption the majority of SBC has poor ethics. Woke Moore has the poor ethics. Marxist Wokeness is anti Biblical. Attempting to compare business to church never works.

I certainly did. Quite a bit more than for other public figures. Every time I was frustrated by Trump, I prayed for him... so several times each day.

    Do you pray for Biden?
