He's at one with Robert Schuller on many points.B.G. claims that people can be saved apart from the Name of Christ.
What is the source of your information of this accusation? Just go to the website and quote what is written there instead of spreading gossip and lying. Have some integrity and at least tell the truth!

B.G. thinks even with all the differences with folks from Jewish,Roman Catholic and Protestant backgrounds common ground is found in evangelism -- even if the message is altered.
What is your primary source for this piece of information?

There was no true concern to lead folks to a real Bible-believing Church.
You have spent to much time shoveling green stuff in your life among religious folks so filled full of gosssip and lies. I know for a fact you are wrong. Have some integrity and at least tell the truth. You do not have a clue what you are talking about. How many of the Billy Graham crusades have you been involved in and how many churches have you pastored that have participated in a crusade to even know? You are the type of person Billy Graham spoke about in his autobiography. You are the kind of fundamentalist who fabricate lies that he wrote about in his book. You are certainly proof of that. How can you name the name of Christ and be so filled with lies and gossip about a fellow servant of Christ?

Seeing as how you have all the answers and have done so much work. How many people have you led to Christ and are making disciples.

Billy Graham's message became :"Be on God's side.God loves you and is interested in you. Please pray to Him."
What is the primary source of your information? I would like to be able to look it up.

Aaron,

I don't know if he took the "Anti-gay material" down, but I can make a fairly good logical assumption that Mr. Warren never had anti-gay or anti anything else up on his site.
Naturally.

But it doesn't take much to be called "anti-gay" these days. I never thought Warren would suggest anything remotely Phelpsian*, but even something as innocent as "we have counselling for those seeking to leave the gay lifestyle" is enough to provoke the wrath of Sodom.

So . . . what exactly was it that Warren removed that earned Sodom's praise?

<offensive comment deleted - LE> At least you know where he stands.

I have sent an apology to Dcorbett and Aaron.

I apologized to them for my harshness and unChristlike attitude. I have been defensive over Rick Warren...primarily because one of my closest friends was personally led to Christ by him.

But that gives me no right to have treated them, fellow believers in Jesus with the words I used (and the attitude behind it). These two got a personal note....however, because the posts were public, I felt the apology should be as well.

Obviously, there have been a bunch of politics threads these last few days. With God's help, I want to be involved in them, but in the right spirit. If I can't do so, I have a responsibility to step back, rather than make statements that are undergirded with a wrong attitude...the only thing that happens then is discord in the Body of Christ. We won't agree sometimes, but I should be more circumspect in my speech and attitudes.

God bless all of you on the BB,

RBell
