The small city of Waskom, in East Texas on I-20 at the Louisiana state line, on Tuesday became Texas’ first “sanctuary city for the unborn.”
Waskom becomes first sanctuary city for the unborn
Waskom Mayor Jesse Moore said the city council was happy to support [Right to Life East Texas] in the historic move.
“Right to Life approached us because the abortion laws are changing in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi that the abortion clinics may start moving to Texas,” said Moore. “With Waskom being the first city, 18 miles (west) from (Shreveport) Louisiana, they were anticipating one moving over here.”

I know it won't be.
But it should be.
We need to continue the fight to end abortion in this nation, nonetheless.

Yes and for any reason.
Abortion is another holocaust of human lives. No justification for murder, ever.

I think it could be ended. Just have to keep the Presidency and the Senate for enough years for the two older liberals to die.

He will die when it's the Lord's time and God is using him now.
He isn't going anywhere.

Yep, He is, like it or not.
The alternative would be a socialist police state.

This is one of the more useful threads on the BB. Instead of the recent string of threads designed to divide brethren, this thread deals with a topic that should unite every genuine Christian. Is the fight against abortion a lost cause? I do not believe so. Even if pro-life efforts stop only a handful of women from murdering their babies, that is a handful of babies that will live. How is that any different than preaching the Gospel? Only a fraction of the people that hear the Gospel come to faith in Christ. Does that make preaching the Gospel nothing more than vain effort?
