I used to love Tobins Labs but they closed down last year. I haven't ordered anything for this year because I have a bunch of stuff from the past but I've heard good things about Home Science Tools. :) We're doing Apologia Botany for 5th grade and Apologia General Science for 7th.

We're using Lifepacs by Alpha Omega for everything but Bible. I designed our Bible lessons. We will switch to the Bob Jones University stuff next year. My bride likes what she sees in the curriculum better. We also like the fact that it can track your kids and give you an actual diploma.

BTW, we like Home Science Tools because they have kits packaged to go with specific curriculum. For example, they have a kit to go with the Lifepac 8th grade science lessons.

Yep. At this stage we've duplicated a few things but not much. We're just getting started collecting the equipment needed for the experiments.

I got the coolest thing this summer that I don't even remember how I ordered it. But 2011 was the "Year of Chemistry" or something and they had kits leftover from schools (it was from the American Chemical Society) that anyone could order for free. I opened it up and it's 4 experiments for 32 students with EVERYTHING you need including all of the chemicals, tools, paperwork, etc. The lesson plans are really complete and so we will be using this over the winter with our homeschool group. I thought it was so cool!

Wow, God really blessed you!
