Well spoken. I made peace with my old friend Steve yesterday, and we had not spoken in years. Steve was impressed that I have moved away from Wesleyanism which was definitely a separating point back in 1999 as I had made attacks on his reformed views at that time in my deep ignorance and we could not agree on anything. I wanted an EXPERIENCE, but Steven wanted to know scripture.

This other person may take longer or may never happen. Its been 6 years, so who knows.

Yes. He used the bible in context.....and he did not deny original sin!

I see no reason not to approach him in love. There are right times to approach a person and wrong times. That is where discernment comes in. As I said, his response is not your responsibility.

Yea but......like really. When I was really sick, this guy inquired after me. When he perseived a lingering pain caused by a loss that I carried around, he also offered words of comfort and when I told my testimony he rejoiced with me.....he has also been frank with me when he felt I was leaving the reservation. I consider that a friend and a brother. I would testify in turn that this man well understands Matthew 25:35-40 & I wish to thank him where ever he is.

He still shows up on the member list and doesn't have "banned" under his name.

Is that an indicator of significance.

It's a sorry state of affairs on this board if he did actually get banned; of all the people that should be banned....... I've been reading over some of his last posts/threads, he did NOTHING deserving of being banned. Between webdog, revmitchell, skandelon, Winman, you should've let up off him and let him be. Or was it your intent to railroad him all along?

I think you should try to make amends. If you have apologized, then you have done what is expected to take your gift to the altar.
