If there is rioting, I wonder if she is open to civil damages from property owners?

And here's a related piece from Tucker Carlson. For those needing some good-natured ribbing, and in honor of one in particular, it's being retitled

with the added caveat that, as usual, Tucker is offering commentary, aka opinion.

    A few excerpts:

But no, said the media, facts no longer matter, not when BLM's founding myth is at stake. Evidence only counts in countries that have due process, something that they are now telling us is an ugly relic of institutional racism. When unpopular people seem guilty, you just go ahead and punish them. That's the new rule. Years ago, we called this lynching. Now we call it equity.

Waters has never believed in Western justice. For decades, she supported the totalitarian government of Cuba, which replaced jury trials with summary mass executions of entire groups of people. That was fine with Maxine Waters. She's never had a problem with killing political enemies. Waters is now among the most powerful Democrats in Congress. Over the weekend, she traveled to Minneapolis to make certain the mob outside the Chauvin trial understood its marching orders.

Maxine Waters did not speak in a vacuum and Judge Cahill wasn't the only person who heard what she said. Just hours after Maxine Waters called for violence, someone tried to murder two National Guardsmen in Minneapolis in a drive-by shooting. Until just recently, people bragged about the gentle niceness of Minnesota. Not anymore. Last week, the then-police chief in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center described how his officers were attacked by Biden voters who'd been egged on by demagogues.

Have you ever been confrontational with a Walmart sales assistant? How about your employee or employer? What about on an online forum with someone who disagreed with you?

No, you might as well argue with the shelf for all the good it will do you.

    No. Unethical or folly.

    Yup.

So what does this have to do with anything?

Confrontational encounters are common occurrences that do not imply any physical violence. There are physical confrontational interactions, but that is not definitional to the word confrontational.

In contrast the word fight mandates physical violence in its primary literal definition and is only non physical when used in a more symbolic non-literal sense.

I think it is up to California's 43rd congressional district.

She should be arrested, though, based on her own standards of "political speech".

    Context, context, context.

She didn't say, merely "confrontational." She said, "more confrontational." Tucker's opinion piece pretty much exposes what sort of person she really is, the violence she stands for.

In any case, the immediate context of her words is recent history, that is the extreme violence of BLM—their rioting, looting, arson, violence, murder. That's whom she was addressing, that's whom she is inciting.

Waters is advocating more rioting, more looting, more arson, more violence, more murder. And she already got some.

Being more non-violently confrontational is still non-violent.

    Context is important.

Yep, she's trying to walk back her words by saying things she said nothing about. In this case it can be called damage control, gaslighting, etc. Tucker has her number, but it's already obvious for anyone who cares to see. Waters is all about advancing her agenda via violence, or threat of violence. It is her MO.

Saturday April 17, 11:46 PM: “And if (they) don’t, we cannot go away. We’ve got to stay on the street. We get more active, we’ve got to get more confrontational. We’ve got to make sure that they know that we mean business.” - Maxine Waters

Sunday April 18, 4:20 AM: "A Minnesota National Guard and police team were shot at in a drive-by shooting, official says" - CNN Headline

Monday April 19: "I wish elected officials would stop talking about this case, especially in a manner that is disrespectful to the rule of law and to the judicial branch and our function, I think if they want to give their opinions, they should do so in a respectful and in a manner that is consistent with their oath to the Constitution, to respect a coequal branch of government." - Judge Cahill

    Message received in context.

Is there a transcript online somewhere of what Maxine Waters said?

    Thanks.

That's right, but Maxine Waters is no reasonable person, so she did incite violence and is proud of it.

Two clips on the matter. The first lasts about 1 min, the other about 5 min.

GOP Rep. Says Maxine Waters "Incited" Riots With Comments About Derek Chauvin Trial

JUST IN: Mitch McConnell Condemns "Inappropriate" Comments By Maxine Waters On Derek Chauvin Trial

Adding one more, ~3.5 min long, just so the Aussies have their "say."

Calls grow for Democrat Maxine Waters to be kicked out of Congress over claims she incited a riot

It actually depends since its a question as to whether or not a member of Congress can be removed by impeachment. She was alleged of attempting to promote violence and "create a civil war." But, who am I to judge her? I don't know her motives.

Lets look at this way - What do you think should have happened to Trump when he was accused of a riot on 6 Jan?
