Should there be a Sticky Thread where racially contentious topics should be secluded?
While some issues will involve race, that doesn't mean that threads with an intent on race-baiting cannot be secluded to an area where those who want to address issues from a political perspective do not have to deal with continuous interruption of those discussions.
It still allows those who feel they are justified in free speech to advocate certain agendas to speak their mind, but also allows the rest of the members who don't think it is something that should be carried into every discussion the freedom to pursue Political Discussion.
So cast a vote, and appeal to your Congres...er, Senat...er...Moderator for true change, lol.
The majority always wants to find a way to control everyone else. If you don't want to respond, ignore the post.
So if you're not asking that we place all of the folks calling others liberal and stupid and racist and troll and blaming Obama and Sharpton and any black public official for everything from their hangnails to the termites eating their home in every thread, then go sit down.:wavey:
If doctrine is what you want to focus on, then please do.:wavey:
No poster is interfering with you posting where you wish. So stop trying to turn us into the Big Brother that so many of you complain about.
Don't know if this is the answer or no, BUT, if something is not done to curtail the voluminous voice of the troll(s), this board is going to be history (as a serious discussion board) within a very short time.
Stop. It is evident that there is a certain demographic that isn't concerned with a serious discussion board, but rather their ability to unimpeded voice their racially prejudiced and racists political views, and shut down by attempted intimidation or group bullying, anyone who dares challenge the truth to be something other than their POV.
There are white supremacy boards for that.
If that type of wickedness is allowed to continue, then maybe we should let the board be history.
Actually, I'm quoting what you said. You said there's a certain demographic on this board that wants to voice their racially prejudiced and racist political views unimpeded.
The very definition of "racist" is to hold views, beliefs, and/or practices that one race is 'superior' to another; at least, that's the definition by any "college" dictionary.
So if someone holds racially prejudiced and racist viewpoints, they're by definition "racist." Therefore, you've called a certain demographic of this message board racists. Thus, I haven't lied at all.
Or, if I have, it's now your responsibility to prove what my lie is.
Yeah, we even have mods starting threads about race with regards to Baltimore in the General Baptist section...which is kind of telling considering the way things are around here.
Can *anyone* explain to me what I lied about? Honestly, if I've actually mis-represented poor Zaac, I'd like the opportunity to apologize. But I don't see where I've done anything but quote what he himself has said.
I'm serious about this. I will entertain any and all input. If I'm wrong, I will publicly post an apology. I've done it before; if it turns out I'm wrong, I'll do it again.
