That just ai't so. Alcoholism is not the same as alcohol addiction, and neither of these are the same as problem drinking. There's no excuse of sin here. At all.

You've got a point there. OTOH, we don't help when we point the finger at anyone who's homosexual and presume they're fornicating. That's what the accusers of the adulterous woman did. That doesn't heal the sinner.

I dunno about that. Society is brutally fierce on child molesters and wife beaters. OTOH, when the abuser is female, society doesn't appear to be as brutal. Whassupwiddat???
