Governor Rick Scott ( Florida ) announced tonight Florida will not be implementing Obamacare. He suggested that a good number of other Governors will not be either.

We voted on repealing obamatax here in Ohio last fall and won...I'm assuming we won't be implementing it here either, especially with Kasich as governor.

Tennessee doesn't have it. Our roads and bridges are in need of repair. We need jobs. Obamacare is a job killer for sure.

I wonder what my ancestor who came to Florida in 1858 would think about Rick Scott....

Jindal has said that we won't be taking it here in Louisiana either.

Why? Did he come to Florida looking for government run healthcare?

Interesting: circa 1858 there were many who opposed the federal bureacrats running things. This was a major factor in the civil war.

Elected officials come and go every 2-8 years. The federal bureaucrats are there for life. These are the folks who implement the policies which supposedly are derived from the legislation of the Congress.

El Presidente still has only one vote--the Congress can still override.

It is not clear who holds the bureaucrats accountable--probably the special interest groups.

We got trouble--right here in River City.

    Peace,

    Bro. James

No; he came to Florida because his mother and stepfather did and he was a child.

    Why did you mention him?

How does he fit within the context of the discussion?

It will be an interesting economic/social experiment if some states reject Obamacare. How will their populations and economies change?
