Canucks up 1-0 after beating the Bruins 1-0. Wow. Very exciting.
Can't wait for game 2.

The series is now 3-2
One more game and the Canucks can win the Stanley Cup! -
Luongo is establishing himself as the most dominant goalie in the NHL. Bar none. He's carrying this team on his back. You have no margin for error against him. NONE.
-
Except when in Boston when the Bruins torched him.

Haven't you ever heard of the "Power of Positive Thinking?" -
I wouldn't have any problem whatsoever with the Canucks winning. If it keeps insufferable Boston fans from more gloating, I'm for it. -
Well, so much for my praise. Luongo got lit up like he was playing the All-Star game. At home, he's sick. However, VAN's special teams can give the Bruins a way to win if Luongo is less than perfect. It's going to be a fun game 7. Two of the game's best netminders. Gonna enjoy it. Packing to go out of town tonight even though I don't leave until Thursday. I don't want to miss a minute :applause:

After 39 years without a championship, the Bruins ripped the Cup — and several thousand hearts — out of a Canadian city that has waited four decades itself for one sip.

This Avs fan is not heartbroken, since Canucks is not a favorite team :tongue3:

Its too bad that a few bad apples have to make the entire city look bad before all, just because they lost. But they are anarchists. They probably would have done it anyway.

You get a larger group of young people(at times old people) they so often turn into a mob and act like a mob. Many get caught up in the moment of what others are doing. So often at the beach, spring break, race week and bike week down here, drink and young women, they think it is time to take off their tops, men diving off the third floor are higher and miss the pool or the fights. Then the parents or the women and men don't think it is right to write them up and address them, it will hurt them later in life, they are just young, but when they miss the pool and become paralyzed or worse they want some one to pay, the motel, police and others for not watching their young one.
It is a shame. -
I don't believe the brawl and destruction in Vancouver had anything to do with hockey. That whole event was instigated by hoodlums. Period!
Cheers,
Jim
