Perhaps Texans can afford to look at it solely that way, as it is their legislators who are shirking, trying to avoid fulfilling what most Texans want. They should work to vote them out.

However, everyone should know by now that what happens in one state, especially one the size of Texas, can have huge ramifications for the country. For example, what’s happening at the border affects us all—the illegal immigrants, illegal drugs, etc.

The Dems are desperate to take national control of elections in order to aid them in rigging elections. They are mendaciously using this as an excuse for trying to force their will on every state.

 

While I favor states minding their own business, at the same time we cannot ignore this fact. For example, when the main textbook publishers prepare to meet the textbook desires of Texas, a lot of smaller states will wind up with a warm-over of the textbooks that Texas has.

 

Exactly. And what or who comes across their border illegally will not necessarily stay in Texas.

yeah, so far five of these people have tested positive for corona and they're mum on whether Kamala caught it from them.

A physician (in real life) told me that the corona vaccine - all of them - aren't really vaccines by definition, since instead of preventing you from getting corona, all they really do is lessen the symptoms if you contract corona. Say what?

 

Now all your vaxed Democrat buddies done got the Rona and done got quarantined. They all vaxed and 5 still got the Covid. Tell me again how good the vax works.

Yes, exactly. It doesn't prevent it, but the body can fight off COVID-19 without the vaccinated person getting seriously ill. In fact, many can contract it without knowing they are ill at all.

That's one of the primary reasons it is so important for everyone to get vaccinated. Only unvaccinated people are dying from it now.

(2) They are quarantined to prevent people who refuse to get vaccinated (and the small number of people who cannot be vaccinated) from getting infected. It is the responsible thing to do when irresponsible people seem hell-bent on harming themselves and others.

That is not accurate. Though the number is low, some vaccinated people die from COVID.

The near destruction of an entire generation of children will the legacy of our response to this virus.

They are extremely unlikely to get it, and if they do they are extremely unlikely to have serious effects. Just saw a report from UK that only 25 young people have died from COVID and over half of those had pre-existing morbidities.

Compare to a report from a couple of weeks ago that over 800 young people had serious heart conditions as a result of vaccine. We still don’t know long term effects on women’s reproductive health.

This is a massive, world wide experiment in response to a virus whose victims have an average age of about 75, right at the average life expectancy in the US.

This has become a super-spreader event. At least 6 of 51 Texas lawmakers tested positive. That’s 10-12% reinfection rate for vaccinated people. Plus several staffers in Washington have tested positive.

Now, the Dems are refusing to release any further info about who was infected on their drunken free flight and vacation.

Imagine, they refuse to give any info, yet the Dems want to go “door to door” to check our status and “encourage” vaccinations.

I heard ole Faucci himself say asymptomatic people could not spread Covid. Vaxed folks spreading it?
If half the crap the CDC told us was consistent, we might believe them. They do 180s almost daily. Tell you one thing today and the exact opposite tomorrow. Either they are pathological liars or morons. I don't listen to either group. They lost ALL credibility in this matter.
