I don't have to say any more--you will either believe or keep going in your false tradition---you know it is related to Santa Claus and he is related to knowing ALL --it is pagan in origin--nuff said :thumbs:
Can you chapter and verse that one???
I mean really, where does the Bible (HOT or GNT) say that the son's name is Yeshua?
I see Iesous in the NT.
You could make a typological argument for Yehoshua.
But you think this Aramaic name is the end all be all.
Do you have Scripture to back up this tradition?
Verily, verily and behold, looketh for the tree that groweth red and green tinsel, that reindeers eateth, and giveth them nourishment to fly.
Hezikiah 3:16
KJV
if you want to practice that Pagan holiday and praise another god--that's your rightful choice friend-- cant you use a litt common sense in matters ???
Santa is observed as knowing ALL--he puts the presents under the tree--if there was NO decorated tree--then Santa cant put presents in your house ?
this is all idolatry and having another god before you
When you kneel down or take them presents from under that tree --you are giving reference and credit for Santa
Why cant we just serve YAHWEH and his Son YESHUA and let all this ungodly idolatry practices be gone from us !!!
Shalom :love2::love2:
Only you would have taken that verse seriously.
Once a member of our church who is a newscaster had a chance to ask Phil Donohue where on earth did
he get his guests from?
You mention that you are from Kentucky.
I would really appreciate knowing how many miles you are from me.
Hopefully you are from the eastern part of the state.
Well, we don't do anything with Santa at our house.
Christmas is about Christ.
When I kneel down to clean the toilet bowl, am I worshipping the great porcelain god?
Not really.
Maybe Mr. Clean but that might be about it.
;)
Because when God called Himself "I Am", it was not Yahweh.
;)
The names of God and Jesus Christ are not idolatry.
I do believe that you are making the name issue an idol though.
Nice avoidance of the question.
Where does the Bible command you to use an Aramaic form of a word not found in Scripture???
If inspiration applies to what is written, then you should be constrained to Iesous not Yeshua.
You have no Scriptural mandate for this baseless conviction.
FACT!
