I checked with admin and the thread was unfeatured due to lack of use over the last month.
-
Jim, I had unfeatured this when I saw your first post in August was the first post in a whole month with only one post every week to 10 days before that. Aug. 9, July 10th, July 2, June 29, June 20, June 13, May 31, May 30...
It had nothing to do with which church you attend. I already knew where you attended with your wife since you've always been open about that.

It is summer. It was intended for non-baptists, and there just aren't that many who stick around.
Those os us who do use the room don't happen to discuss illness or daily complaints, so naturally its use drops off.
Yes, I have always been honest about where I attended, just as I was honest to the Webmaster when I decided to become a member of that church.
That is ok, though. We will survive. The Lord is good and so is life.
Cheers,
Jim -
I think it would be nice to see it reinstated once more.

Good evening, broJim. How have ya been doing? Sorry I haven't posted in a long while, but that doesn't mean I don't care.
We've been having a very hot, dry summer here. Worse than usual, I believe. On top of that, my children have decided to have a month long rummage sale in this heat! I try to stay inside as much as possible, but it's hard to do when ya have a yard full of folks, lol.
Well, just wanted to pop in and wish you well. I'm so ready to go Home. Take care and God bless.

Good Morning all.
A sunny morning here and a nice breeze too. I am not sure what we will be up to today as we have Open Door at church from 12 - 2 pm. I think I will wait and see how hot it gets. I am so glad we now have a ceiling fan fitted in the bedroom. We need to replace the ceiling in the sitting room sometime so we will probably fit an fan there too at the same time.
Rob and I are looking forward to spending a few days visiting friends in Wales soon.
I hope you all have a great day in the Lord,
Blessings
Sheila -
Nice day here, especially since our Beth is home for a couple of weeks

Last night I read about a Baptist Brother in Kentucky who is in dire straights. He has MLS. Bills for daily living, medical costs and all are mounting. We are sending off $100.00 US to-day to help out some.
Makes me glad I live in Canada, where medical costs are covered. God bless [names and actual town snipped for privacy], Ky and Brother Al Gormley for keeping us informed.
Cheers,
Jim

Praise the Lord for your giving spirit.
If the church were truly doing her job instead of competing the biggest house and nicest car we would not have this kind of problem. -
Roger, Believe me, these folk live quite humbly as does this particular group of Baptist Churches. Everything they do is a faith mission.
Cheers,
Jim -
Sorry for not being clear, I meant the church as the body of Christ
-
bump...I can bump forever, if I have to
-
Jim,
You would get a lot of bruises tho'...LOL -
Though they bruise my body.............I am strong, for my God makes me strong in weakness.
To-day I found out why I am instructed not to climb ladders.......LOL...I fell off the small step ladder! No damage to either myself or the ladder, Praise God! I better go easy.
Cheers,
Jim -
Take care of yourself, especially with ladders .
-
Goodness Jim, do take care. Dare I ask what you were doing up a ladder in the first place?
I don't like Rob using ladders as he has no sense of balance since his op. -
It was just a step ladder. I was removing a nail and it removed befoe I was ready and I went backwards. It was a jolly good ride,,,,,,,,,,,and free. I was working on the new workshop I have been building.
Cheers,
Jim
