You don't know anything about me. You may not "think" but that is your intentional choice. Likely it serves to gratify your dislike of anyone who does not "think" like you.
"Dislike" is your word, not mine. Disagreement is not dislike.
The ones that did not vote for Hillary were misguided and not intelligent according to you because they should do what you say. And then you label an opposing viewpoint as a rant. You are not a good debater because you like to sling mud and you are making false accusations about your own country in Latin America policy. You really think that you are more intelligent and properly guided and etc., don't you?
I don't consider opposing viewpoints rants. I welcome them. I am always learning. You were ranting by saying I am communist and that I hate Christians. Go back and read your comments.
My accusations are not false. They are based on actual observation and study. Study what we had been doing in the Central American countries. That means you will have to get out of you America-can-do-no-wrong bubble. It is easier for you to accuse every single opposing comment as mud slinging and communist.
Why should I take anything seriously from you when you write something as asinine as this? There is more than a choice of A or B. People who voted for Hillary were misguided. Big time. But, as it turns out, people who voted for Trump were also misguided. He has turned out to be very much like our recent previous presidents; a puppet for the war hawks and corporate oligarchy.
I have an idea that you know nothing about Latin America. And I am guessing that you support the communist countries in Latin America.

I have spent almost two years in Latin American countries Chile to Mexico. I am fluent in Spanish and enjoy conversing with locals. Where do you get your knowledge about Latin America? Fox News? I don't have all the answers but I am sure I know more than you on this topic.
And, no, I do not support communism in these countries. Neither do the majority of local I have met. Communism is a great evil. It is based on a lie. But what our country is doing now - and has been doing for decades - is also based on a lie.

There is only going to be one empire in a region at any given time. Look at history. When there are 2, there will in short order only be 1. With the modern militaries, the entire Earth is "the region." We are either the Empire or a second rate subservient. I prefer being THE Empire, at all costs.

First of all, I agree wholeheartedly about Rand Paul.I would have voted for his father. But our system made sure that he could not get into serious contention.
The biggest promises from Trump were those concerning our wars. He gave a strong impression that he was going to put an end our military involvements overseas where we did not belong. He might very well have said all this out of naivite, as an outsider. He turned out to be as much a hawk and interventionist as his predecessors.
As Christians, we do have other options. Or do we believe that God does not help nations and godly leaders any more?

Trump has stepped down our foreign entanglements.
He works in mysterious ways. Sometimes Heheals with medicine. Sometimes He protects by giving us the top dog military.
History does show examples where those who took the higher road ended up with better situations. And I am not talking about flowers and cookies instead of guns and armies. I think that Roosevelt's dictum about the big stick was good. Such is the world we live in. But he proved too quick in using his big stick.
