I wouldn't be get too excited yet. Two weeks ago his goose was proclaimed as nearly cooked, and it appears that didn't happen ( http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/us/republican_presidential_nomination-1452.html).
A note about the Milwaukee J-S. It is an ideological soulmate of the Huffington Post, so it will be biased against a conservative by default.
Having said that, the video is what it is and probably doesn't help his bid; but is it fatal to his campaign? I doubt it. -
So was there an assessment of Libya by Obama before going in and helping put the "death to America" crowd in charge?
To bad the media is unwilling to ask Obama that question.
This little video means nothing. -
It astounds me that a conservative black man cannot run for president in the USA without being lynched, whereas a liberal "black" man gets a pass on every one of his stupid mistakes just because he is liberal.
Yes, Mr. Cain still has my vote and the liberals will stop at nothing to stop him because they fear any man who is honest. -
People who make a big deal over Herman Cain's video ought to be reminded of Joe Biden's numerous bone-headed gaffes. A double standard.
Ps- And don't forget Obama's dependence on the teleprompter. -

It's sad to see how a good man like Herman Cain go through so much. At some point I hope someone in the media will give a much needed ethical evaluation...but I won't hold my breath.
About this latest gaffe, theres just not much you can do when the vultures are circling and there's blood on the ground.
It is an uncomfortable truth that politics today is more about pageantry than substance. This kind of a gaffe, as uncomfortable as it is, is the reason many will finally dismiss him. That's too bad. The gaffe is terribly uncomfortable and he should have jumped in with a standby rhetoric based answer.
Politics today sucks. The media has driven our conversation to the lowest common denominator. We are worse for the place we've been left at by these charlatans of cultural discourse. Cain's case is just another example of the decay of American society. -

Question put to Cain: "Do you agree with Obama on Libya?"
[Cain appears somewhat flummoxed; you can see he's trying to figure out what the reporter is asking.]
Cain: "Specifically, what are you asking me whether or not I agree or disagree with Obama?
Cain took a little while mulling over how to respond to the question. Is that the so-called 'gaffe'?

An excellent summation. -

I'm Not A Liberal!
- First - I'm not a liberal. Far from it! But, you must have missed the memo!
- Second, please use your far superior intellectual ability and skills, to self-check and correct your spelling errors (I believe you meant you're, not your voting for Hillary?). How refreshing to see that you are actually "human" after all!
- Finally, get off the Hillary thing. That is old news, and it should not be brought up again, as I explain that several weeks ago.
And in conclusion. Let me point out something that continues to diminish your witness for Jesus. You need to start demonstrating Christian principles when dealing with others on this forum (like me)? Your use of sarcasm is so not like Christ!
Being more Christ like would make it somewhat easier to love you :love2: -
Can you point me to the verse that says "Thou shalt not be sarcastic"? Thanks in advance, Dude.

If It Will Help, Go to....
Some where in those verses is the directive for a Christian and how they are to treat one another. I hope you can find the humility to allow the Spirit to show you that sarcasm has no place in the heart, mind and life (walk, talk and actions) of believers who practice the "fruit of the Spirit!" -
Bye, Bye Mr. Cain, it's been fun! :wavey:

That is Not Necessary.....
I'm not your pastor, I'm your brother, and as hard as it is to "love" you the way you are towards me, I am told to love you, and I will do that.
Please stop placing words in my mouth. I didn't say you were sinning. I simply responded to your request to show you where "sarcasm" is not allowed, and I provided you the verses. How you live is completely between you and God. If you choose to "dis" others who you will be spending eternity with, well, who am I to tell you what to do. I'm not God. Just, a child, saved by grace, like you, and I only ask for you to treat me with the same kindness and love that I am required to show you! -
"And, it's Pastor Paul, Matt, not righteous dude! Or, maybe you're tooooooo self-righteous to give me the respect of my office of Pastor. That too is a sin." -

In My Way of Thinking....
I truly feel sorry for you, because you are only hurting yourself with your mean disposition! :tear: You must be a sad little man, inside, because you are so "puffed up and venomous" on the outside (to others). You are always looking to "pick a fight" and I am simply not willing to play your games....so, as I've written you in several other PMs, "cease and desist!" -

You Asked for my Input, and It Appears....
I'll repeat it again...if you can't address the issue in the present day, than "cease and desist!"
Galations 5:21-23 "Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [[a]that can bring a charge]." And Ephesians 5:9.
Some where in those verses is the directive for a Christian and how they are to treat one another. I hope you can find the humility to allow the Spirit to show you that sarcasm has no place in the heart, mind and life (walk, talk and actions) of believers who practice the "fruit of the Spirit!" -

I Hope We Are Both Right!
Not sure who is a good candidate any more, but Cain wasn't even my last choice!
