You can go back to the Democrat Party Headquarters and tell your bosses who are looking to protect Obama by controlling the message that you have and will fail here on this board.
Got it. -

We all know the real reason for the anti-Obama threads.

I did not use the terminolgy in an attempt to slur or slam anyone. It is an older term, but one that is still used, and it is not inflammatory! Thank you! -

My mother loved Jimmy Carter. Though he was a good Christian man.

I gently suggest you never use that term around young or middle-aged African Americans. In fact, I know some elderly African Americans it would not be wise to use this term when they are around. -

For my picky critics ...
If this is all you few folks can find wrong with my OP, then I guess I must have hit this one out-of-the-PARK?
Besides if hip hop blacks can use the "n" word as they see fit, get off my back for calling a black man a negro. That is genetically speaking, proper and correct. Besides, in my lifetime, while the blacks have defined and re-defined what to be called from negro, to Afro-American to colored, to black;I have been on a steady learning curve in order to not offend.
Let's also talk about my black friends who love to lovingly refer to me as "cracker" and "honky" and white-boy. If I offended anyone it would not be my negro, afro-American, black friends and brothers in Christ.
So, ctb, unless you have something more intelligent to add to this OP, it's time to close your eastern seaboard caucasian trap. -

Okay ....

What African-Americans call each other, or words they use is one thing. What you, as a white person, says is quite another.
ROFL
The word negro may be proper in your white circles, but not in African American circles when it comes from a white man.
Also your use of "hip hop blacks" just adds to where we know you are coming from.
That is to you face. And maybe it is not so loving as you would like to think, but then maybe it is.

As long as I don't dis them with the "n" word , I am fine thank you. And if you get the UNCF to change their name, I will own up to what you think you are right about?:laugh:Click to expand...Click to expand... -
righteousdude2 said: ↑Excuse me, but my use of negro is perfectly correct accorind to the following: Anthropology teaches that there are three races of humans: Caucasian (people of northern European descent), Mongoloid (people of Northern and eastern Asian descent), and Negroid (people of Central and southern African descent). This is a classification system developed to describe the various races of humans, and ostensibly contains all of the sub-races (a scientific use of the term) of humans.

I've said for two years now that their allegiance to partisan politics is much more important than any allegiance to Christ. You don't get people saying some of the things that have been said and think for an instant that these are authentic people who are serious about loving Jesus and their neighbors as themselves.
And if this board is not being used to glorify Christ, it's being used for something else.
