McCain is no lawyer and does not understand legally how to write a policy so he veers into the Democrat camp all the time and the Democrats always welcome him with the salutation of Hello, Sucker.
What McCain endured in Viet Nam is totally unrelated to pouring water on someone with a doctor nearby.
We train our own troops to endure that sort of thing.
As for information, almost everyone talks--especially the neo-orthodox who have no hope anyway.
I think the world of McCain and his father and grandfather and I was stupid enough to vote for McCain, but he is not a lawyer and no one knows legally what he means and that opinion was stated by Greg Garrison on Indianapolis radio and Greg Garrison was the prosecutor who convicted Tyson of rape here in Indianapolis after Tyson raped a star-struck beauty queen at a fancy high-class hotel during the crime-ridden Black Expo a few years ago.
If Garrison cannot understand McCain, then McCain is talking nonsense on stilts because Garrison is as tough as they come on legal questions.
You need to read the whole report.
Waterboarding is just scratching the surface.
And no, our troops are not trained in that sort of thing in any shape or fashion.
Well he did lose to your man in DC, so at least 51% of the people turned from him in his bid for POTUS. That was predictable, or he'd be prez today
And you know this to be true .... how? Are you basing this statement on facts or liberal narrative? I would like to know what you know that the rest of us have to believe the Feinstein propaganda machine has spun for us?
I am inclined to believe those who worked for a living (not career politicians that lie more than they sit), and never got to tell their side of the facts. It sure seems that the truth as Feinstein would like us to believe is based more on revenge for to indignity of being spied on. :wavey:
So tell me how you know there was NO credible info from interrogation of the guys who torture and cut heads off for being anything but a radical Muslim?
I voted for McCain.
My point was that it's sad to watch Republicans turn on him, after all, he was the guy that won the GOP nomination in 2008.
Of course democrats voted for Obama and he won which wasn't at all the point.
The report was based off of the CIA's own documents so if they have a bad source it's due to the CIA misleading them.
The CIA isn't even denying this stuff, the only thing they seem to want to argue is that their techniques were productive.
Republicans and Democrats both voted to declassify the report.
This report is a pure Democrat product.
The CIA briefed Pelosi and everyone else involved on the committees numerous times.
People have gone on tv and testified that they briefed Pelosi specifically.
She lied.
So the CIA is denying it.
Even Panetta spoke against the accuracy of the report.
The reaction may have been slow at first but it is very intense already.
Even John Kerry spoke against the release of this report.
Feinstein lied.
No it's not partisan but right now the Democrats have rank on the Senate Intelligence Committee.
Here is the membership list:
Democrats + 1 who caucuses with democrats:
Dianne Feinstein, California, Chair
Jay Rockefeller, West Virginia
Ron Wyden, Oregon
Barbara Mikulski, Maryland
Mark Udall, Colorado
Mark Warner, Virginia
Martin Heinrich, New Mexico
Angus King, Maine
Republicans:
Saxby Chambliss, Georgia, Vice Chair
Richard Burr, North Carolina
Jim Risch, Idaho
Dan Coats, Indiana
Marco Rubio, Florida
Susan Collins, Maine
Tom Coburn, Oklahoma
Ex officio:
Carl Levin, Michigan
Harry Reid, Nevada
Jim Inhofe, Oklahoma
Mitch McConnell, Kentucky
The final report, which was revised with minority/GOP input despite the initial 2012 report receiving the needed votes, left the committee with an 11-3 vote. There were many revisions and redactions that occurred due to the GOP's influence after the 2012 report was released to the committee. It's not a partisan document at all -- even those republicans on the committee who voted against it were able to exert heavy influence on the 2014 report that we now see -- not just redactions but also in terms of what they thought should remain classified.
Three of the seven Republicans voted for declassification by the way.
Rockefeller is another one who lied.
The Democrats had total control of this report and it is nothing more than a Democrat political product as the GOP had nothing whatsoever to do with it.
Sometimes I don't understand you.
Check it out--Feinstein did not allow any input from anyone.
That was the reason that the report had to be published now--Feinstein will not be the chair in the next Congress.
Torture is having to watch people jump out the windows of the World Trade Center, as someone has said.
